Pansy laid there on the ground, her head aching and her bare back cold against the stone floor. She was listening to everyone but only really paying attention to the clover that she knew had a secret message for her. Any other night, she'd have been whipping Luna, George, and Hermione back into place, but she didn't care tonight. Whatever happened, happened. It was all lovely with her. She sang to herself as she waved her wand, making daisies fall with the rain that was dripping from the ceiling. "Cats and rabbits would reside in fancy little houses, and be dressed in shoes and hats and trousers, in a world of my own. All the flowers would have very extra special powers, they would sit and talk to me for hours when I'm lonely in a world of my own."

Roseh sat at her table sipping her drink and watching as all the couples danced together. The dancefloor was a blur; a carousel of twirling, hypnotic green spinning spirals. She longed to be up there, but instead sat, tapping her foot in time to the music.

Adrian looked into her drink and swirled it around before sniffing it. Hmm. Firewhiskey?! Dumbly's really giving us free reign at this party. She downed the entire glass and winced as it burned her throat. Well, this is boring. I'm going to go find Koemi and give her a nice little treat. She set the glass down and made her way out the door to search for Koemi.

Katie walks in already pissed as a newt, covered only in 3 very carefully placed shamrocks, She noticed Sirius and Fleur lying on the floor anmd goes over to them "Hi Guyssss!I'ma join you! ButterWhiskey?"

She hands over 6 bottle of ButterWhiskey, even thought it is clear Fleurs trying to keep it away from Sirius.

Pansy pulled her hair out of its french braid as she finished her song. "There'd be new birds, lots of nice and friendly howdy-do birds, everyone would have a dozen bluebirds within that world of my own. I could listen to a babbling brook and hear a song that I could understand, I keep wishing it could be that way, because my world would be a Wonderland." She thought about making ~~snow~~ glitter angels on the floor, but was too distracted by the ceiling. Just then, the clover turned into a butterfly. She sat up quickly and grabbed the closest person's hand, pulling them to the ground to sit by her, and pointing at the clover-butterfly. "OH MY GOSH DID YOU SEE THAT!?" She giggled. "It's lovely."

What is love," she felt like she was having some kind of deep revelation, understanding what love really was and what it as all about, but as soon as she blinked, the thought escaped her. She sat up again, pondering with her head tilted. She stared off into space. "Was that chair purple before? LUNA, is this real life?"

Luna patted Pansy's head. Normally she would have noticed something was odd but she was too in love to really notice anything. "Of course this is real life! It must be! No one could feel this wonderful in a dream could they? And love... love is a magical thing. More magical than anything we could learn in this school."

Roseh, sitting at the table next door, heard the words "love... love is a magical thing" and turned around to see who had said them, for they were so perfectly and infinitely true. She saw Pansy, her head in Luna's lap, and at that one moment, seeing the love between them, she could understand the point of everything. Roseh smiled, to herself, hoping that one day she could experience the same feelings.
