Fleur felt out of control anger. She wanted to tear Katie limb from limb for ruining the dance she was having with Sirius. As soon as Katie - as Fleur - had even come within sight, he had let go of Fleur - as Katie - for her. He acted as if Fleur - as Katie - wasn't even there as he let her go and pulled Katie - as Fleur - close to him and danced with her. Fleur felt entirely vulnerable. She froze in her place and watched them dance, so close to one another, before she turned and ran off to the tables. She would NOT torture herself.

Katie felt guilty at having made Sirius drop Fleur - as Katie - like that for her. It wasnt fair, and the hurt on on Fleurs - as Katie - face was hert breaking. She looked back at Sirius and smiled lightly at him. She could at least keep up Fleurs pretenses. But then Sirius leant into kiss her, and Katie felt her lips brush against his,

"I love you Fleur...." He mumered thorugh his lips to her.

What was she to do? Kiss him back, and practically have him cheat on Fleur, or stop the kiss and potentially ruin their relationship?

Fleur - as Katie - had turned her back on the couple. Why hadn't she taken a more careful look at the punch? Luckily, it would wear off sooner than most other potions. She put her face in her hands, before she turned to sneak a peek at the couple. She watched as Sirius kissed Katie - Fleur at the moment - before feeling her heart crush. He didn't know who he was really kissing, but Fleur, both of them, knew. She picked up the skirt of her dress and began to run for the door. She left the dance, tears streaming down a face that wasn't even her own.

[You can kiss back. It goes with the plan. Fleur's going to want to destroy you. And she's going to be very emo and act upon it. In a very harsh way.]

In an effort to save Fleurs relatioship Katie permitted herself to kiss back. Her lips moving in sych, and suddenly something clicked within her, like a missing piece that had been gone so long was fitted right. She could breath again after being underwater for so long. Her arms made there way around the back of his neck, clutching his hair, pulling him closer. She knew this moment would not last, and in the morning he would once again belong to Fleur. He would never lover her like he once had. He responded enthusiastically, pulling her in, savouring her. He pulled away leaning his forhead against hers.
Over his shoulder she saw Fleur leave.
