[It's tragic really, haha. I try not to think about all the sneak peeks I'm missing out on!]

Pansy woke up and stretched, her shoulder a little sore from where the cushions had slipped around during the night. Leaving them in a pile, she headed downstairs and found something to eat for breakfast, a couple cardboard-looking pancakes. She used a few charms she'd learned from her mother to make them taste a little better. She ate one and half of another, saving the rest of them. Back upstairs, she sat the plate on the bedside table for Severus whenever he woke up. Scribbling on a scrap of parchment, she left him a quick note and headed back downstairs to sit at the bar and watch the people come and go. She wouldn't leave him here by himself, not yet. School didn't matter that much to her anyway, she didn't mind missing some classes. Someone would help her get caught up again.

Please eat something. Left you some pancakes. They're not very good, but not terrible.

[Sorry. Wasn't able to get on. Real life drama. Am here all night, though. Though I'll be honest, I'll probably pass out drunk at some point, whenever I can get to the tequila.]

Severus woke up, feeling horrible again as the memory of Remus came back. He sat up and read the note Pansy had left, and smiled a little. He was lucky to have a friend like her. He loved Lily, and knew she was a great friend, but he just couldn't confide in her like he could Pansy. That, and the idea of Lily being anyone's drinking buddy was preposterous. He felt a little dizzy as he looked at the pancakes- he didn't remember when the last time he'd eaten was. He nibbled at them a bit, feeling a little better with each bite. He debated going back to the castle, but wasn't sure he was ready, and decided to stay in bed a while longer.
