Sirius glowered at her, using all of his self control not to smack her right there, and only because he knew what Remus would do if he did that. "Oh, I'm well aware, Whoremione. But who's to say it's even his kid, with the way you've been slutting around? Tell me, how's Draco doing?" he said scathingly, looking at her like she was the lowest form of scum on the planet. "He always deserved better than you."

I have never, ever cheated on him and I never would! I know you can't say the same! How many of my friends have I watched you casually work your way through by now? You and Snivellus should just go off and form your own club, you know, because clearly you operate under the same delusions about me. *Tears spill over Hermione's eyes when Sirius hauls her off her feet and she makes a strangled sound of complete fear as he barks into her face. She doesn't doubt for a second that there's very little stopping Sirius from hitting her right now and she realises how much bigger than her he is, exactly how much damage he could do to her if he chooses. She sways on her feet when he drops her roughly and for once in her life seems to have been struck mute, capable of nothing beyond trying to remain upright while he cuts her down. Trembles overtake her as he finally turns and walks away, she sits heavily on the rock, trying not very successfully to stave of a panic attack.*
