Faye pushed her back against the wall, listening, but feeling a little isolated. She wondered if she should sneak out of the corridor and leave them to talk.

"The thing I find with people," He started, looking to where Faye was leaning against the wall and then back to Regulus , "is that they're as stupid as rabbits. You have to be very straight forward or they don't understand anything." He said, feeling very wise.

Regulus couldn't suppress a laugh at that. "Way to point out the obvious," he chuckled, taking another drag from the cigarette. He was right. It did help. Made things seem... clearer, somehow. "My problems have more to do with people not being straightforward, saying one thing, and meaning another," he said, staring at Teddy. "Or worse, not saying anything at all."

Teddy smiled, the guy was intuitive. Or maybe he was just obvious. "Yes, but what if you have to wait for someone else to speak first? You don't want you words to hit a brick wall."

Faye started to feel uncomfortable. She shifted against the wall, crossing her arms. Her eyes darted to the ceiling and she got lost in random thoughts.

"Uh, I think this was more of matter of people trying to communicate without words, if you know what I mean," he said, looking at his feet.

Faye returned her gaze to Regulus at his response to Teddy, before scrunching her nose at the cookie idea, "I am seriously questioning your sanity."

Regulus chuckled at the image of Viktor's face if he showed up to their next training session with a tray of snickerdoodles and chocolate chip cookie. "Sounds delicious, even if I doubt the effectiveness," he said, feeling better already. This Teddy kid wasn't so bad. I wonder if he's a mudblood too. That'd be a pity, he thought to himself, his gaze flickering back to Faye momentarily. "Sanity? Who needs sanity? Far more interesting to live without it," he said with a half-smile.

"My sanity? I think it's your sanity in question. Who doesn't like baked good?" He asked, incredulous. "See?" he said, nodding in Regulus' direction. He likes it.

"Never said I didn't like baked goods. I just don't believe they'll solve all your problems. That seems as if you're trying to push the problem away," Faye sighed. This wasn't what she had planned when she came down here, "But whatever. Go with it."

Regulus shrugged, looking at Faye. "If only they did solve problems. I'd keep a never ending supply of gingersnaps, wouldn't you?" he chortled.

Faye paused for a moment, not wanting to give in. Eventually, she smiled and shook her head, "Okay, fine, maybe. I'd have to keep a different variety of goods, since my problems vary."

"Ew, cheesecake. Chocolate mousse for the win!" he said with a laugh, before realizing that he was standing in a corridor, smoking and joking, with Teddy and Faye. Merlin, when did he get so desperate for a break from the tension?

Faye had never expected Regulus to give in to smoking. It was weird, since he seemed to hate anything Muggle-related. She shrugged and ignored it, continuing to laugh, "I'd take either, but considering the unhealthiness of cheesecake compared to mousse, I'm going with the mousse. Sorry, Teddy."

Regulus laughed as well, knowing he and Faye were thinking the same thing, judging by her tone of voice. "Yes, Teddy, do tell us."

Regulus stared at him in disbelief, taking another drag himself before finally giving him and bursting out into laughter. "Of course. The journey. Cheesecake's all about it," he said, cracking up.

Faye tilted her head, "Uh-huh. The journey, not the healthiness. That makes a load of sense!" Her hand flew to her mouth as she burst into laughter.

Teddy broke into laugher. He realized how much fun he was having. With two Slytherins. He never knew Slytherins could be fun before, but realized that was part of the ignorance that came with being in Gryffindor.
