Regulus smiled, leaning against the wall again and taking a longer drag then before. He was honestly considering making a habit out of joining them. At least one more time, maybe. It was a welcome, and well needed break. "I see why you guys do this," he admitted.

He smiled, "I bet Faye is upset that people keep joining her. She use to be all by her lonesome."

"I'm not anti-social, God," Faye stated, taking out another cigarette. She had already finished her first some time ago. She lit it with her wand and took a drag, letting the smoke escape from her mouth as she exhaled. The different shapes the smoke made were fun to see, "I just didn't expect people to approve of the activity. Actually, I didn't expect anyone to participate in the activity."

"No, you're not anti-social, but I am amused you've tolerated my presence for so long," he said with a grin, the remainders of the cigarette still between his fingers, his hand dangling at his side.

"You're easy to tolerate, when you're not being an asshole," Faye replied, smirking. She looked over at Teddy and rolled her eyes, "Oh, yes, Teddy. I would have died without your existence!"

"You were doing so well before! Let's not return to old habits," Faye cringed at his smirk and brought her cigarette back to her lips. She closed her eyes and took a long drag, before turning to Teddy, "You knew?" She fake gasped, "How long have you known?!"

Regulus chuckled when she cringed. "Relax. I have no intentions of returning to heartless mockery any time within the next hour," he said with a softer smile.

"Good, because I enjoy your presence a lot more when you aren't a jackass. It's refreshing and, surprisingly, nice," She muttered, not having imagined using the word nice to describe Regulus. She threw her cigarette on the ground after a couple more drags, using her shoe to crush the remains, "Ah, Teddy. What's my 'type'?"

Regulus looked at her in mock horror. "Did Faye Denowitz just refer to me as nice? Lovegood was right, the nargles are real! They've messed with your head!"

He looked up, "I don't know." he said, smiling. "I'm outta here. See you around." He pushed off the wall and walked back to the Gryffindor dorm.

"Don't push it. I could easily go back to calling you a jackass," Faye shook her head, "I can already tell you're going to hold that over me forever," She noticed Teddy was about to leave. She smiled, "See you later, Teddy! I'll bring you some cheesecake and we'll talk about the journey!" She called out as he left down the hall.

"Hm, looks like as soon as I got rid of my issues...you gained some," She muttered, not sure on how to comfort him. She had never had to before, obviously. It was weird to not want to insult him, "Unlike the rest? What's 'the rest'?" She pressed, but then she leaned back against the wall, "Sorry. You don't have to talk about it."

Reg stared at her, wondering why he found himself even considering talking to her, of all people, when he couldn't even talk to Cormac. Of course, he was half the problem these days, wasn't he? "Just... stuff. Been getting into too many damn fights with people, people I actually don't want to fight with," he said, frowning.

"Oh, I see," Faye muttered and her hand ran through her hair, unsure of what to say, "I'd ask if you've tried reasoning with them without fighting, but I figure you already may have. You're not stupid. If you have tried reasoning with them, then you have to try something else. The reason you may be fighting with them could be that they're afraid or that they feel like believing in you, means giving in to something. Whether that be temptation or giving up on their beliefs. There's a lot of prejudice in this world," She smiled slightly, "Some people don't know how to be open about their feelings. They fight, instead."

Reg listened silently, watching her and realizing the truth in her words. "I suppose you're right," he said quietly, staring at his feet. He missed his best friend. He didn't want to yell at him or punch him every time they talked, he just wanted to get along with him. But how the hell was he supposed to do that if he was constantly starting shit? He'd said he was okay with Reg being... well, Reg not liking girls, but he certainly wasn't acting okay, and Reg just didn't know what to do about it. "I suppose you'd know all about prejudice," he continued. "I've just never been on the receiving end of it before, I suppose, is half of my problem."
