Tony smirks, because smirking is awesome and I'm glad to have a character who gets to smirk a lot.

"I suppose you'll be joining up after leaving this pathetic excuse for a school?" Tony's never liked Hogwarts, and he hates that his parents sent him hear rather than a better school...like Durmstrang. He so could have gone there. But noooo, he had to come here. It was stupid, here he had to deal with mudbloods and blood traitors like that Weasley family. He couldn't really show off his talents and skills here where dark arts weren't approved of. Hardly having the chance to practice them, he was a bit behind on those. His dueling was good, but he'd have to work a lot harder so he could prove himself to the Dark Lord.

Evan raises his eyebrows and regards Tony coolly. After several long seconds, he's satisfied with Tony's obvious dedication to the proper ways of their world, and leans in conspiritually.

"Mate, I'm already in the service. I've been out there doin' the good work all year, til I came back to this shithole to look out for me little sister. Who needs all the fuckin' help she can get, ya know. You're interested, too?"

Tony's eyebrows raise and he stares back in interest. "You're already in?" There was a slight hint of jealousy in his voice. "Dad's already been involved for a while now, but Mum's gone a bit soft. She got him to agree that I couldn't join till after I left this place. Won't even let me practice at home so I do all my practicin' elsewhere, but it's hard in a place like this. Teachers show up fuckin' everywhere. And that bloody cat of Filch's. I'd have just left ages ago, joined up without tellin' the 'rents, but they fuckin' keep tabs on me." His lip curled in disgust.

"Fuckin' parents. Useless as shit. Mine didn't care - knew I wasn't gonna learn anything useful here anyway. Almost a year I was out there, serving the Dark Lord, then my stupid friggin' parents got themselves killed, and I got saddled with me little sis. Who is a hopeless pain in the arse."

His eyes flicker to the door to make sure it's shut securely, and he thinks to the room that they need to keep this conversation private.

"But ya know, I'm not doin' nothin' while I'm stuck here. I got my orders. Might think of me as a recruitment officer or something. If you're interested, and if you wanna get ahead, I could help ya out while we're both stuck here. The Dark Lord, he likes people who take a bit of initiative, ya know."

"Damn." Tony's rather glad he doesn't have any siblings. If he did, he'd have ditched them ages ago. Because honestly, he only cared about where he got in life. Not his family.

He appreciates this room because their conversation could remain totally private. His eyes gleam at the thought of getting help, and having the chance to get ahead of those who'd be trying to join later. "I'm definitely interested. I'll do anythin' for the good of the cause." And by that, he means anything. Not that I approve of this idea. But he's supposed to be like that. And he's going to have a freaking awesome teacher. Who scares the crap outta me.

Luckily for Evan, he's so straight that he doesn't even think about what it means for Tony to be willing to do anything for the good of the cause. If Alecto was here it'd be a different story, because she'd totally hit that. Hey, weren't they meant to have a threesome with Sev at one point? Hmm, Alecto would like me to look into that. Where was I? Oh, right. Evan shrugs.

Tony sighed and frowned, his lips pursed in a thin line. "Not yet. A few times though..." He smirked, thinking about one of the times he had gotten a chance to use an unforgivable. There was that mudblood who ran into him in Diagon Alley. He'd been on his way to Knockturn Alley, and that bitch was clearly lost. She'd came out of the alleyway linking the two Alley's and had ran right into him in her hurry. Rather than apologizing about it she tried to ignore him and run off. That hadn't settled with him at all. He wouldn't have a mudblood try and act all superior to him, like an apology wouldn't matter. No. She'd owed him an apology and a few seconds with the cruciatus curse had loosened her tongue enough to give him one.

Evan watches with interest as Tony trails off, clearly lost in some sweet thought about giving mudbloods what they deserve. People gotta learn that they'll get what's coming to them, thanks to the Dark Lord paving the way to a better world. Tony was alright - he'd be a good soldier for the cause if he'd only get the chance. Evan thinks he may as well give him that chance, see what the other guy can do. He feels his face fall into an easy grin.

"We'll find some more chances then - plenty of mudbloods round here that'll do for practice. Maybe even put 'em in their place before they get their worthless carcasses killed.... We'd be doin' 'em a favour, really, showing 'em what their lives are good for. Which is nothing."

Tony grins. "I'm up for that. Been itchin' for some fun." He's thrilled to be getting this oppurtunity. And if he wants to get ahead, prove himself to the Dark Lord and his followers, he better take it. Shame though that he doesn't get to play with Loopin anymore. Well, it had been his favorite pasttime when bored but, now he'd have a better way to spend his time. From what he'd seen Evan do so far, he knew he'd be getting a great teacher. There was more to all this than just the dueling. Tony was excellent at that. I say a 9.8 because there's always room for improvement, but he's holding out for a 10. Because he's worth it. But yeah, there was more than just dueling.
