Scorpius allowed his face to remain to the side, stinging in pain. He didn't want to look her in the eyes and felt ashamed for confronting her when he should have just stayed away. He waits until he leaves before placing his hand on his cheek which feels hot to the touch.

Tam walked forwards after Penny stormed off. "Hey you, need some help?"

"I'm fine," he mumbles a bit embarrassed. "Nothing I don't deserve from her."

Flint walked in and sat my Scorp realizing he seems a little upset he asked. "Hey Scorp. What's wrong?"

"I'm fine mate," he says while rubbing his cheek to Flint. "I'm going to go," he says embarrassed by the growing amount of people. "I'll see you guys later," he says walking out of the common room.

Flint leans back on the couch knowing it wasnt really nothing, but decided to give up for now. "Ok, I'll see you later Scorp."

Pansy walked into the common room in the process of pulling an extra sweater over her head. She wrapped her arms around herself and sat down in a chair by the fire without looking around the room, wishing it was a bit warmer.

Draco strolled down the stairs and headed for the fireplace when he saw Pansy. Sev had said they should talk but he didn't really know what to say.

Pansy looked up as someone entered the common room. Her stomach dropped. Draco. She wrapped her arms around herself tighter as she looked at him. As much as she wanted to ignore him and avoid this whole thing, she knew she couldn't. "Hey, Draco," she managed.

[Muffy - Tam - Draco]

He sighed and walked over to sit on the couch opposite her. "Pansy..." He wanted to say more but all he could think was that she'd been up in her dorm with Blaise. Regardless of what Severus had convinced him of he would not make the first move.

Pansy was confused why he wasn't shouting at her already, throwing things, trembling, forcing himself not to strangle her like last time they'd spoken. This was strange. She pulled her legs up into the chair and wrapped her arms about her knees. "Look, Draco. We've got to figure out what this is."

[Muffy - Tam - Draco]

"This? I don't think there's much of a this anymore. Do you?" He looked at the fire, trying to avoid the temptation of pulling her into his arms and ravish her throwing shit at her.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"Well, obviously." Considering neither of us can apparently turn down temptation of sex, and considering it wasn't even with each other, yeah, I'd say whatever we had is gone. Pansy forced herself to look at him, ignoring the fact that all she really wanted to do right now was cry and say sorry. She wouldn't do that anymore. She had to stop, had to think about herself this time. "Suppose we shouldn't have even tried in the first place. Was it stupid of us?"

[Muffy - Tam - Draco]

He sighed and looked at her, "No. I don't think it was stupid to try. I just think it was the wrong time. We just weren't ready for it. Either of us." Sev's words were echoing in his head: "But I'm not sure that I can agree that she deserves this kind of hatred from you. You've done things that aren't so different what she did, and you've done worse, as well. She made a mistake, I won't deny that. But she made one mistake, and you made many. Don't you think she deserves a second chance? She gave you more than one." He still didn't know what he wanted... all he knew was that this, whatever this was, wasn't how he wanted it to be.

[Pansy feel free to yell now]

"So what are you suggesting. We just forget everything and start over as if nothing ever happened? I've done that too many times for you. You can't possibly ask me to do it again." Though she didn't mean to, she spat the last bit at him, narrowing her eyes. Second chances, so many second chances, and she'd finally found it within her to stand up for her self, the one time he wasn't actually ranting and raving at her about his mistakes. Funny thing was, this time it was her mistake, and he was calm. It didn't make sense. What had happened to him? Had she finally done something drastic enough to change him? No, that could never happen. Pansy shoved down the false hopes as she stared at him, waiting for an answer.

[Muffy - Tam - Draco]

When she said the word forget he saw red. Rage he didn't even realize was simmering below the surface exploded. When she talked about second chances it was the final straw. He snapped. Leaping up he grabbed the lamp nearest him and pitched it against the wall drawing some measure of satisfaction from the crashing sound as it smashed into hundreds of pieces. Rounding on her he started to vociferate, not caring if the whole common room heard. "Fuck you Parkinson! I can never forget this because every time I see you my heart fucking breaks. It's fucking shattered now and every time I see Blaise I get so filled with rage! I just want all of this to fucking go away god dammit!"

Pansy blinked as the lamp made contact with the wall, shattering on the floor. She leapt up from her seat, advancing on him and shouting back just as carelessly. "And what, you think I have no bloody feelings at all? I nearly killed Granger." She kept as close to his face as she dared, yelling her heart out. "Hospital wing for a week. If that doesn't show you how I felt about it, I don't know what would." Though Pansy knew Draco wasn't the only reason she'd attacked Granger, he'd been a big part of it. She'd caused the first major problem for the two of them, and it had only gone downhill from there. "Do you really think I don't care? What am I to you? Some heartless bitch? If I am heartless, it's because of you." Pansy lowered her voice, her hands trembling. "I had to be, for all these years."
