She jumps as some random kid rips her quill out of her mouth. "What the?" She burst out laughing when she listened to what he said. "Are you joking right now?" She just stared at the boy like he was crazy.

"Why are you laughing?!" he asked, looking at her with a shocked expression. "I don't think that you understand the severity of this problem. YOU COULD DIE! DO YOU WANT TO DIE?! NEARLY 50% OF PEOPLE DIAGNOSED THAT DO NOT TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM DIE!"

She just stared. "From...chewing on the end of a quill?" She tried not to laugh. "Are you like, drunk or something? I feel fine." She smiled, still trying to hold back her laughter. "Wait! You're a hypochondriac aren't you?"

"Apparently you do not under how extreme influenzas can be. You know what...I tried to warn you," he said, holding back a slight sniff at being teased. "I guess you should just go on and hug a pig. One day...you will be crying because you didn't listen to the nice, weird boy in the library who cared about your health and safety."

She had finally met someone more awkward than herself. She decided to humor him and play along. She widened her eyes at him. "Wait. This is real? I could get sick? Tell me what I need to do!" She kicked out the chair on the opposite side of the table. She was bored, and Marcus was at Quidditch practice or something.

"Well, the first thing you need to do...is to look out for these symptoms. As soon as you see them, go to Madame Pomfrey. From there you can get some sort of potion...like oseltamivir," he said, sitting down across from her. "Now...if symptoms get really bad...breathing may get difficult. I've heard that they put these muggles on these massive breathing machines that are as big as boats! That's why it's important to start looking for symptoms now."

She started writing everything down. "What symptoms? Am I showing any sings of them right now?" She was trying her hardest not to laugh. "Muggles are so weird..."

"Okay, let's start with the basic symptoms. Now, these symptoms are common of most flus, so it would be difficult for you to distinguish between the two. Luckily you know that you've been chewing on quills so you'll know to be on the look out. A fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, or headaches could all lead you to the assumption that you have a cold. Put these together though...not good. Plus, difficult breathing and muscle aches. Also...that diarrhea is really nasty too. Perhaps you should stock up on Depends. Oh! And the malaise. We can't forget about that one. Do you know what malaise is?" he asked. "It just means that you have that sick-feeling. That 'oh...I feel like I'm ill and under the weather' sort of thing."

It was a good thing she had her head down, because she was laughing silently as she 'wrote what he was saying' she was really just doodling. She collected herself and looked back up, looking amazed. "Wow. You know so much. How old are you? You know, you should look into a career being a Healer." She nodded.

"Oh...well...thanks..." he said, flushing from the compliment. "I'm sixteen...a sixth year!" he said happily, for he loved being associated with the sixth years. It meant that he was included in the Marauders and that was just the greatest feeling on the planet. "I'm not smart enough to be a healer. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life. Do you have any ideas about yourself?"

"Me? Well this is my last year. I'm studying to be a curse breaker for Gringotts." They were turning into to regular conversation now, hopefully there wasn't any awkward pauses. She didn't want to start rambling.

"I love Gringotts! You know, I always thought my friend Sirius would work there. See, Sirius is this guy that really likes to look at his reflection...so I figured he would love to work there because there's lots of money so he'd be able to constantly stare at his reflection through the coins! I dunno any curse breakers though...but that seems like a really cool profession!"

"Hey! I know Sirius! I met him the other day!" She didn't really know what else to say at this point. C'mon Illie..think..don't say something stupid... "He's got pretty hair." Crap. "I mean, you know..for a guy..I guess you can't really use the word 'pretty' in the same sentence talking about a guy. I suppose it would be better to say he has nice hair. Then again, that doesn't really do it justice.." She closed her mouth and blushed. Stupid rambling..

"Oh...Sirius loves his hair!" Peter said, nodding enthusiastically. "I mean, he allows likes to make sure that it's just perfect because he likes it when the girls all notice him. They tend to that. Not that the rest of us Marauders mind. James is all focused on Lily....Remus is all focused on books...and I'm just too weird to catch a girl's attention."

"Uhh, you are talking to a girl right now in case you didn't notice." She laughed. "Yeah, Sirius seemed to be a ladies man. He's a pretty good charmer too." She nodded, and started feeling awkward again..crap.

"Yeah...Sirius has mad game with the bitches," Peter replied with a nod. "Well...the only reason that I'm really talking to you right now is because I was trying to save your life. That's one of the exceptions to the Peter rules. It's actually rule number two...that saving a girl's life gives me a reason to talk to a pretty girl. Otherwise, I'm supposed to avoid pretty girls to save myself embarrassment."

"Well, good thing you aren't talking to a pretty girl." She laughed awkwardly, and loudly. She looked around crazily, not sure what to say. "Well, look at the time. I need to go. Bye dude." She stood and walked out because Derrik just got home from work and we are going to watch a movie.

DOM SAYS TO HAVE A WONDERFUL MOVIE NIGHT BUT THAT YOU PROBS WON'T SEE THIS BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO BUSY WATCHING A MOVIE. SHE HOPES THAT YOU PICK OUT A MOVIE REAL FAST UNLIKE OUR INDECISIVENESS.

Accidentally nearly posted from Hermione's account because I forgot which character was logged into Firefox. Oh how the fates like to fuck with me...
Jack saunters easily through the library, books in arms, searching for two things. The first is a place to study, the second is, far more importantly, a little eye candy in the form of Molly's friend Remus. Something about that boy has caught Jack's attention, and he wants to know more about him, see more of him. And yes, he does mean in a time sense and in the sense of wanting to see Remus in less clothing. Just so we're clear. He spots Remus at a desk, completely absorbed in his reading, and pauses for a moment to check him out. To say Jack likes what he sees is an understatement, and he slides neatly into the seat next to Remus with a grin and wandering, appreciative eyes. "Well hello, Remus Lupin. Fancy seeing you here."

Remus looks up from his book, about to say to whoever had interrupted him that he was generally in here all the time anyway, but then pauses when he sees it's Molly's friend Jack, whose eyes are doing quite a bit of wandering. "Oh, hi, Jack." he smiles shyly and tries to ignore the wandering eyes - stopping his own from wandering as well. "How are you?"
