[*huggles Inner!Molly lots* Yeah...no, I don't remember Remgela kissing. It was waaay too awkward for them. They didn't even finish their date. XD]

Remus blinks then looks down, feeling rather uncomfortable. "Sometimes it's easier that way though..." he mumbled, "If I apologize for everything then generally people just drop whatever it is and things can go back to normal. There wouldn't be anymore conflict and that's a good thing, right?" he shrugged, absentmindedly picking at the edge of his shirt. "...and I don't really know anyone else really lining up wanting to kiss me." he chuckled lightly. "It's not like I asked Viktor or anything, so I don't even know if I'm even any good at it or not. I think about those sort of things. It's sad, really. I'd be kissing him and the whole time I'd be wondering 'oh my god am I even doing this right?' Just pathetic. I just can't stop thinking. Turning off my mind is rather difficult - Sirius finds it kind of annoying, really. He'll complain that instead of saying things out loud I'll just think about everything. That doesn't really help in a conversation does it? Oh dear, I'm rambling."

"And I don't mind you rambling, because that's what friends are for-- listening when you need to ramble," he said kindly, thinking that Remus is rather sweet, and disliking Sirius more with every passing moment, probably largely influenced by the fact that Sirius and Rad hate each other in my head, oh goodness. "And while I'm a lover, not a fighter, sometimes conflict needs to happen, for the better. Not always, but sometimes. For instance, I don't think that you should apologize for being upset over what Sirius said about George, like I feel like you might do-- I think that's something that might be worth a conflict over. If what he's saying is really hurt you, you shouldn't let him go on saying it. If he's your best friend, he'll listen, and he'll stop, if it's causing tension between you two, but it seems to me like he doesn't have any idea that his homophobic speech affects you at all," he remarked, frowning slight, before bursting out laughing at Remus' next words. "Oh, fuck, I'm not laughing at you, I swear-- it's just, Remus, I'll be frank, you're being utterly ridiculous. Don't know if you're any good? Remus, you've kissed one guy. One. First of all, Viktor isn't expecting an expert, for goodness sake, you're new at it. And second, why on earth would you assume you're not any good? This is what I'm talking about, you don't have faith in yourself. Skills like that come with experience, but it doesn't mean you're bad when you start out, either. And even if the worst is true, and you are, it's something you can learn. hell, I could teach you-- it's not like I haven't served as a tutor in that kind of thing before," he said, watching Remus' reaction carefully at those words.

"So...you're saying I should talk to him about it...well, I guess I can give that a try." As much as he's scared that Sirius will laugh, or not take him seriously, he does want Sirius to know that hearing things like that upset him. If it goes well then that's good. If it doesn't...well, then at least he tried, right? He can always apologize then for bringing it up and being ridiculous. Oh geez. That's exactly what Rad was telling him, wasn't? He just apologized way to much. He couldn't help it though - that's how he's been for years, it'll be a tough habit to break. He doesn't know what to make of it when Rad starts laughing and he just shrugs when Rad mentions that he didn't have faith in himself. He was pretty sure he had some faith in himself, thanks. Just...not a lot.
He blinks blankly up at Rad when the guy talks about teaching him. Like, wut? "Teaching..." Oh geez, he didn't even know how to respond to that. He really was just awkward and pathetic sometimes.

"Yeah, teaching. If you're really worried you aren't any good, what better way to fix it than to learn? Not to mention, it's a fantastic distraction, and a great way to cheer up, as I mentioned earlier," he said, grinning at Remus, who he just remembered is quite close to him, leaning against him, and all. "Of course, it was only an idea-- I didn't mean to scare you, or anything, you look rather terrified, or very, very awkward, at the least," he chortled, smiling kindly at Remus. "But I won't deny that I would enjoy kissing you, just like I'm sure plenty of other guys wouldn't mind, either. You've just got to open your eyes a little more, and you'd see that, cutie."

"Awkward." he chokes out, wondering if he can sink into the couch. "I am just a very awkward guy. Yeah. Oh dear." he flailed, YES FLAILED YAY, and remembers that he's sitting quite close to Rad, still leaning against him and all...and now Rad just admitted that he wouldn't mind kissing him. Awkward Remus is awkward and does not know what to say or do. Soo...he'll just stare. Oops, not at Rad's lips anymore. He doesn't want to get caught staring at those. Then he'd feel even more awkward, wouldn't he? Even if he wanted Rad to help 'teach' him, not saying he doesn't, he just wouldn't know how to agree to it. It's not really the sort of thing you agree to all the time. Remus wasn't sure how to handle this sort of thing.

Awkward!Remus is so fucking cute I can't even handle it. It's growing increasingly harder to post, since my inner Sirius is now purchasing a flame thrower to use on Rad, before he gets any closer to Remus, and Rad is investing in a large dog cage for him instead. My head is a mess, oh dear. I'll need to go soon, by the way, so I might not reply until morning again, but knowing me I'll probably stay on because I'm an AWF addict. "You're awkward, and that makes you all the more cute, silly," he said, smiling as he brought a hand to Remus' cheek, caressing it lightly. "But the offer still stands, if you'd like-- obviously, there would be no offense taken whatsoever if you didn't want to, but I think it would help you feel better about yourself, in all honesty, Remus. And I'd like to see that in you, a little more confidence."

Yeah...I do Awkward!Remus rather well. It's only going to get worse before it gets better, JS. Hehe. Poor Sirius...maybe some tranquilizers would help? I should really be going soon too. I won't be leaving the house till 7:30 and then I won't be back till around 5something at the latest...I hope anyway.
It's still hard for Remus to get used to people touching his face, but he doesn't flinch or move away from Rad's touch. "It's...it's not that I don't want to..." he replied, shyly, feeling more and more awkward, "I just really don't know how to agree to this sort of thing. I mean," he chuckled, lightly, "it's not exactly something you agree to every day."

Caradoc hadn't remembered, or he wouldn't have touched Remus' face-- it's just that he doesn't really see the scars, so he forgets that they're there, really. He sighs and smiles at Remus, trying not to melt at how adorable sweet he is when he gets all shy and awkward. "Well then, how about I make it a little easier for you, Remus, I'll reduce it to one little question, okay?" he said, leaning down and taking Remus' face in his hands, as he leans forward, gazing into his eyes with a rather affectionate expression. "Would you like me to kiss you right now?"

OMG *is dead*

Remus blinks, staring back into the other man's gorgeous eyes, and can feel his face burning up. How the hell was he suppose to respond to that? Dear lord, he was about to turn into a puddle of melted Awkward!Remus right there. If he was going to let Rad help him though...then he had to be able to say yes. It was a simple, easy word to say. So why couldn't he open his mouth? "Yes..." he finally managed to squeak out, feeling like he was about to die from awkward.

[Inner Sirius just left my head. He won't come back. I'm rather afraid he's gone permanently.
He has never been this angry with me in the history of forever.
I might cry if he isn't back by morning.]

"Alright then," he whispered, a smile fleeting across his face as he closed his eyes and closed the gap between them, pressing their lips lightly together in a gentle kiss, still holding Remus' face lightly in his hands, awaiting Remus' reaction, before doing anything else.

[And with that I'm gonna attempt to force myself to log off-- night!!!]

[Uh oh...well...*blinks* I'm sure he'll return eventually. *huggles* Remus will cry too if he doesn't return.]

Once they're kissing, Remus is suddenly even more aware that they're in the library and that anyone could just walk by and see them...Oh for crying out loud, stop thinking so much. He can't help but worry about it though - he's not ready for a whole bunch of people to know. So he just hopes and prays no one walks by. Finding himself leaning into the kiss, his hands move to rest on Rad's shoulders.

[Sirius... isn't back today. He is not. Panic ensues.]

Caradoc smiles as he pulls away from Remus' lips, encouraged when his friend doesn't panic or back away, though he opens his eyes to see a rather frazzled, nervous expression on Remus' face. "Hey now, all you need to do is relax, Remus-- let it all go, even if just for a few moments, you'll feel better for it," he said softly, flashing another encouraging smile as he brings one hand to the nape of Remus' neck, and the other up to rest on top of one of Remus' hands, which he gives a light squeeze. Always so tense, boy-- it's like you never learned how to let your guard down, I swear. Caradoc leaned down again, letting his fingers stroke the back of Remus' neck lightly as he kissed him again, still gently and cautiously, so as not to frighten him, but with more pressure than the first time. After a moment he parted his lips slightly, and let his tongue slip out to run along Remus' bottom lip, awaiting either invitation or rejection.

Remus is indeed tense...and nervous...and awkward...but not about to deny that he's enjoying this ever so slightly, and when Sirius pops into his mind as Rad's kissing him again, he tries to push his friend out of his thoughts. He figures the only reason his mind thought of Sirius right at this moment was because he was still so worried about how his friend would react when he finally tells him about being gay. Remus tries to relax, he really does, and his lips part slightly as he feels Rad's tongue run along his lower lip.

[And this is really weird to write while my father is sitting nearby.
Anyway...
I can't stay long.
I'm so tired I can barely hold my head up *is sitting with it tilted to the side* Yeah. And I have to get up uber early tomorrow. So shower and off to bed for me soon.]

Caradoc smiles slightly as he feels Remus start to relax, and moves his hands to Remus' upper back, massaging the tense muscles in an attempt to get Remus to truly calm down for a moment. "That's it," he murmurs against Remus' lips, before slowly slipping his tongue into Remus' mouth, pausing for a moment before deciding that he liked his semi-sweet taste-- he almost tasted like chocolate, really. He tentatively began to explore his mouth, his tongue making its way cautiously around the wet cavern of his friend's mouth, toying playfully with the other man's tongue, trying to encourage Remus to be a little more bold.

Well...he was eating chocolate earlier. Remus began to relax more as Rad's hands massaged the tense muscles in his back. He leaned closer, his tongue tentatively teasing with the other man's tongue. One of his hands moved to the back of Rad's neck, holding him close as he nervously decided to deepen the kiss, hoping that would be alright.

[Alright...now I'm going. XD *huggles...then falls asleep*]

[/snore I was going to get up at 6:30am, but apparently my body wanted me to get 9.5 hours of sleep instead of 8.]

That's it, Remus-- see, this isn't so bad after all, hm? he thought, rather proud of Remus, for his improvement and newfound courage, as he pulled Caradoc closer and deepened the kiss of his own accord. Rad himself slid his hands further down Remus' back until they came to a rest on his quite slender waist, gripping it firmly now that he'd lost his concerns about frightening the boy, and kissed him back with a fervor and passion that he'd previously hindered. His tongue was forceful, but still not overly so, as he let his left hand move even further down to come to a halt at Remus' hip. Then, finally, he broke the kiss, pulling away slightly to smile at Remus. "And you really thought you were a bad kisser? And here I was, thinking you were smart," he teased lightly, leaning down to peck Remus on the cheek affectionately. "Do you feel any better, Remus?"

Remus gasps slightly when Rad finally breaks the kiss. He catches his breath, face slightly pinkish as he awkwardly smiles at the other man. "Well, you know, I worry...about silly things like that. It's ridiculous, I know. Er, I do. Feel a bit better, I mean." His hand is still on the back of Rad's neck. "I can see how...that would help, er, distract someone." he blinks, feeling ridiculous again...and awkward.

[Oops. I only just saw this. Er, Sirius is in my head still, because he is trying to kill Rad, but Rad just ran away because he's afraid Molly is going to beat him with a frying pan for his last post to Carabian, so yeah, good luck, Sirius.]

Caradoc laughed softly and leaned forward, kissing Remus gently and quickly on the lips again, smiling down at him. "You're a sweet guy, Remus, you really are. Awkward and shy, yes, but very sweet," he said softly, reaching up to rub Remus' back soothingly. "Your only flaw is that you need to let go a little more-- it's almost like you don't know how to relax, really," he noted, feeling the tension in Remus' back.

"Well...I try to relax, and it usually works..." he shrugs, mentally willing himself to relax, "but I find it's harder for me to do so when I'm in a new situation or one that I'm not entirely sure how to handle."

Just focus on enjoying things, and living for the moment-- it's what I do, and I find I'm always happy, that way," he suggested, smiling at Remus still. "Remus, you're such a sweet, caring, and not to mention rather attractive guy, who happens to be a natural at kissing, apparently. You won't have any problem finding someone to see that-- just make sure you've got someone who appreciates it all, okay? Because I really think you deserve someone who can give you their all-- you're a very good person, with a lot to offer. Don't you ever let that slip your mind."

"That's...you're a very nice guy, you know that?" he smiled, feeling slightly embarrassed by the compliments. He gave Rad a quick hug, shyly kissing Rad on the cheek. "Thank you."

"Nice guy? Maybe. Honest guy? For the most part," he said, smiling brightly when Remus kisses him on the cheek. "Look, I really should be going now, because I've got class, but Remus-- I'm always here if you need a friend. For anything," he added, grinning and winking at that last bit. "But really, anything. If you ever need to talk, especially about things you can't necessarily talk about with friends like Sirius-- know that I'm here for you."

Awkward!Remus turns slightly pink at Rad's wink. "Alright. I should probably be heading off as well...thanks again, Rad. It's great to know I can talk to you if I need someone to go to. I really appreciate your help." Yeah...haha.
He's a bit nervous of running into Sirius now...but he's decided that he will talk to Sirius.
