Al smiled and gave his boyfriend's hand a light squeeze. "Everything's going to be fine. Besides, I love you...that should be enough for him," he reminded Scorpius with a soft smile. He brought his boyfriends hands up to his lips, placing a soft kiss along Scorpius' knuckles before he lowered their hands and walked into the kitchen, keeping his fingers intertwined with his boyfriend's.

James entered the kitchen with his hand holding Parvati's, grinning when he smelled the food. If there was one thing he loved, it was definitely his mother's cooking. "Mmm, smells great mum!" he commented with a wide grin on his face. He was more than excited to dig in, and he really hoped he wouldn't freak Parvati out with the amount of food consumption that was about to occur. He pulled out a chair at the table for Parvati, motioning for her to sit in it. "What would you like to drink?" he asked, ready to get her whatever she wanted.

Parvati smiled at him and sat down in the chair when he pulled it out, muttering a small thanks and giving him a smile. When he asked her what to drink she thought for a moment but nothing really came to mind. She didn't know what people in this house drank. Did they drink the same things she drank at her house? "Uhh, I'll just drink whatever you are drinking." She said giving him a smile before fiddling with her thumbs slightly, not really sure what to do because she felt like quite the awkward girl being the only one sitting at the table.

Al led Scorpius over to the table, then took a seat next to Parvati, using his foot to pull out the chair beside him for Scorpius to sit in.

Scorpius followed Al into the kitchen and gave Parvati a small smile before sitting down at the table. He drummed his fingers nervously on his legs, realizing that this dinner was kind of important because he had to make a good impression on Mr. and Mrs. Potter, especially since they now both knew about the relationship.

Harry Potter March 30th 2011, 6:47 am

Harry looked to the kids and smiled widely as he saw them all walk in and sit around the very ROUND table. He grimaced slightly after watching Al for a moment and looked away from him, not being able to look at him for very long. He grabbed his glass and filled it up with something good, I don't know maybe wine, are the adults drinking wine? They are. Yeah he grabbed a bottle of wine and set it on the table and filled his glass and Ginny's and then sat down next to Scorpius, an open seat between him and James for his lovely wife.

Ginny Weasley March 30th 2011, 6:55 am

Ginny smiled, watching as all the kids came into the kitchen and then sat down at the table. There was a comfortable silence amongst them and pleased her to see that all four of the teens got along well. It sort of reminded her of how her, Harry, Hermione, and Ron had been after the war and during that following summer at the Burrow. She grabbed the food from where it had been staying in warm in the oven and then brought it over to the table. "The boys didn't tell me of any food allergies or anything, so I hope the two of you are fine with meat lasagna," she said to Scorpius and Parvati as she placed the casserole dish on the table next to a basket of rolls and a bowl of mixed salad. She then sat down at the table, motioning for Parvati to help herself first.

James had headed to the fridge and grabbed a pitcher of cold tea before heading back to the table. There were already glasses on it, so he figured bringing the pitcher to the table. "Cold tea alright?" he asked, filling his glass and then moving to fill hers as well but waiting to see if she objected.

Parvati smiled at James and nodded. "Yeah, it sounds perfect." She said, looking up at him with a smile. When Mrs. Potter motioned for her to get food first she reached out to the center of the table, taking a square of lasagna because I am assuming it is cut into squares, a little bit of salad, and a roll, because she had to take a least a little bit of everything, and it all looked quite delicious. She looked down at it and then turned to James and gave him a smile. "I see where you get your talent from." She said giving him a wide smile. "It all looks delicious." She said, looking over at Mrs. Potter as she waited a moment because she didn't know if they just dug into their meals or if they said grace or what. It wasn't her family after all, yet.

Al laughed because James got all the cooking skills, not him. He grabbed a little bit of everything...then a little bit more of everything, because he's a teenage boy. "Right. He got all the talent, while I can barely boil water," he chuckled before setting his plate back down in front of him. He side glanced over at Parvati, who still hadn't eaten. Awkward guest syndrome. So he smiled over at her, then started eating his own food to try to convey to her that, yes, it was okay to eat now. "Oh, Parv. You're sleeping with me tonight, by the way."

Scorpius waited his turn before putting food on his plate. He didn't take too much, for he still wasn't quite up to eating large portions. He couldn't be rude though, so he took a bit of everything. "Well, I don't mind living on cereal," Scorpius said with a grin, knowing that that was the only thing Al was really good with preparing. And now Scorp just had a vision of Al and a little girl sitting a table and eating cereal together. He took a bite of the lasagna before smiling, for it really did taste good. "This is great Mrs. Potter," he said.

Harry Potter March 30th 2011, 7:29 am

Harry looked at James as he waited for all of the kids to take food before he went to take food, he wanted to make sure they all got enough after all before he went and filled up his plate. He couldn't help but to keep glancing over at Al every once and a while though whenever he talked or when Scorp talked to him. Al was just....different on this visit....he knew why but he refused to believe that was the reason he couldn't help but stare at him. Al was 17. He was of age and he was allowed to do what he wanted after all. This post is pointless and stupid. >.>

Ginny Weasley March 30th 2011, 7:35 am

Once all the kids had their food and Ginny had some as well, she took a sip of her wine. She was quiet as she watched them interact with one another, then glanced over at Harry. Every know and then he would look at Al with an expression that she wasn't able to figure out. While taking a bite of her lasagna, she shifted slightly and kicked his leg, wanting him to stop. To hide the action, she asked, "Would anyone like butter for the rolls?"

James flushed slightly from the compliment before shrugging. "I like cooking with my mum," he said softly. At one point he would never have admitted that to anyone, but now he found himself much more comfortable with himself and what he enjoyed doing. James isn't going to compliment the food though, because that would make Al feel awkward. James is just gonna sit there and engulf it though, because it is totally delicious.

Parvati started eating once Al did, because she then decided that they did not say grace or anything like that. When Al said that she would be sleeping with him tonight her eyes widened. "Really? Yay!" She said with a wide grin before continuing to eat her yummy food which was really delicious and super good. Parvati looked up at Mrs. Potter when she asked if anyone wanted butter for the rolls and shook her head. "No thank you." She said politely, trying to come off as a proper, polite girl to James' parents. She didn't want to come off as some sleazy whore who likes to suck cock all day and night after all. Which apparently she is according to some people.

Al grinned at Parvati's obvious giddiness to sleeping in his room. "No thanks, mom," he said before dipping his roll in the meat sauce instead. He glanced over at his dad, who kept staring at him. "Dad, what is going on?" he asked his father, a bit confused and paranoid with the way his dad kept looking at him, because he seriously had no idea what was happening.

Scorpius shook his head when Mrs. Potter offered butter. "No thank you, I'm good," he replied, taking a bite of his salad before freezing. He glanced from Al to Mr. Potter, curious as to what was going on. Did he miss something? He must have, for he really was confused and also sort of concerned and wow...he is just a bunch of things right now that start with the letter 'c'.

Harry jumped when Ginny kicked him, slightly startled by the kick and he gave her a slight glare as if to ask what that was for. He did not like being kicked. He shook his head slightly when Al asked what was doing on. "I'm sorry Albus." He said with a sigh. "But I have to ask." He said, glancing at Scorpius before looking back at Al. "How long has it been.....since you..." He took a deep breath. "Since you shaved??" He asked bluntly. "I don't think I've ever seen you like this." He said, looking over at his son, or was it his son? Maybe it wasn't....

Al frowned slightly and set his fork down, bringing his hands up to rest on the sides of his face. "I don't know," he answered, before dropping his hands to the table again. "Few days ago?" His eyes flickered to everyone else at the table before he turned his focus back onto his father again. "Why?" he questioned curiously, wondering what the big deal was.

Scorpius eyes widened slightly, for Mr. Potter had glanced at him when he said he had to ask something. But then...oh...what? Scorpius really hadn't thought that was going to be the question and let out a small laugh which he quickly tried to hide as a cough. He watched as Al's hands ran over the side of his face and Scorpius' eyes remained locked on his boyfriend's hands for a moment before forcing himself to look away. He was tempted to comment that he rather liked the scruff, but figured a comment would make Mr. and maybe even Mrs. Potter uncomfortable.

Harry Potter March 30th 2011, 8:15 am

Harry shrugged slightly. "I don't know. It just looks like you haven't shaved since I last saw you to be honest." he said and took a sip of his wine. "I understand if you don't want to or something but if you don't mind I would like for you to shave tonight or tomorrow morning. I don't want to force you to just, it would look a lot nicer and cleaner." he said, giving his son a wide smile before continuing to eat, wondering why everyone decided to stop talking to listen to him talk to Al.

Al blinked, wondering if his father understood that it had only been a few days. Honestly, it only took about a week for him to grow a full beard. "Oh." He glanced down at his food and shifted it around with his fork a bit. He really didn't like shaving. He preferred the scruff himself. Saved him a lot of time and whatnot. "Well, alright...I can shave tomorrow, I suppose. I just...I sort of like it this way, I don't know. What do you guys think?" he asked the rest of the group, his voice calm because he really didn't want to start a fight over all this.

Scorp really didn't want to get in the middle of anything, but he really did love the scruff. He was quiet for a moment before saying, "I like it. I mean, I like you without the scruff too...but...there's something about it..." he broke off.

James took a bite of his lasagna before finishing Scorpius' broken off sentence. "Yeah, you seem less childish. More like a man. Which is weird to consider because sometimes I think about how you used to just be this little kid that followed me around and begged me to play with you."

Parvati smiled at Al and looked him over as he asked what the rest of the group thought about his scruff. She thought about it for a moment and then glanced from Mr. Potter to Al. "I like the scruff, personally." She said with a nod. "I mean sure without you would look much more clean cut and like businessie." She said, getting slightly shifty eyes after her last word because she was pretty sure it wasn't a word. "But I like you with the scruff too. It's nice for like...just chilling." She said nodding. She glanced over at James after his words and smiled, imagining a little Al chasing a little James to beg him to play with him.
