[Albus Severus Potter]

Al was glad for the scruff because he hoped that it hid his blushing, for the most part. He flashed a quick smile at Scorpius and Parv, then glowered over at James before he turned back to his food, not looking at anyone. "Oh, fuck off," he mumbled under his breath, not amused with his douche bag of a brother.

[Ginny Weasley]

Ginny was rather quiet during the whole thing. She didn't mind Al's facial hair at all, though it made her a little sad to think that her boys were really growing up and now men. Her eyes widened slightly before narrowing as she looked at Al. "Albus Severus, you watch that mouth of yours at the dinner table," she warned before sighing. "Just tell your brother to bugger off. It's much more acceptable."

[Harry Potter]

Harry huffed and shoved a forkful of lasagna in his mouth before mumbling. "Fine keep the damn scruff." He said and he didn't mind Al telling James to fuck off. He said it quietly at least and James was a bit of a git by saying that in front of Scorpius, talk about embarrassing. Then Harry continued to shove food in his mouth.

"No, no. I'll shave it off tomorrow morning if it's that big of a problem. I didn't think anyone would mind, seeing as I'm 17 and have the right to do what I want to my face," Al replied, somewhat defensively.

[Harry Potter]

Harry huffed and looked up at his son with practically eyes that could KILL. No not really but it was a slight glare. "Just do what you want Al, alright? I'm sorry I brought it up." He said and continued to eat.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius' eyes widened slightly, because he really did not want the scruff to go. Itreallyturnedhimon, okay? There was something rough and rugged about it. "What?! No!" Scorpius said quickly, his hand reaching out instinctively to rest on Al's. "Please don't. I really do like it," he said. He realized that his hand was still on Al's, glanced up at Mr. Potter, and then removed his hand with slightly flushed cheeks. "Just...consider keeping it for a bit," he mumbled.

[Harry Potter]

Harry continued to eat and didn't comment on any of what was going on.

[Albus Severus Potter]

"Sorry, mum," he mumbled quickly, not realizing his language until his mother had pointed it out. He looked down at the hand Scorpius had just grabbed, then back at his dad, then back to Scorpius. "Right. Let's talk about something else now, yeah?"

[Parvati Patil]

Parvati just kind of sat there eating her food, not knowing what to say. After all she didn't want to say anything wrong. She wanted Mr. and Mrs. Potter to like her and if she said something wrong she would just mess up her entire relationship with them and her life would be ruined so she just sat there, nomming her food and sipping her tea.

[James Sirius Potter]

........ and then dinner ended and it was just so delicious and awesome.
Ginny went over to the sink to wash some dishes and forced James to help her, since he made a comment that clearly bothered Al and she thought he deserved a little punishment for it.

[Harry Potter]

Harry stood up from the table and pointed to Scorpius just lightly and casually. "Scorpius, I'd like to talk to you before you head up to bed if you don't mind." He said quietly to him before walking out of the kitchen and turning the corner after gesturing for Scorpius to follow him.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius' eyes widened when Mr. Potter said he wanted to speak to him alone. He should have been expecting this, but he was still scared. "Right. Err, okay," he breathed, glancing over at Al with a slightly scared expression while standing up from the table.

[Albus Severus Potter]

Al gave Scorpius an encouraging smile, trying not to show his boyfriend how nervous he was for this talk that was about to happen. He figured that Harry and Scorp would probably need to be alone, so he took Parv's hand and led her out of kitchen and up the stairs. "Let me show you to your room, Miss. Patil."

[Parvati Patil]

Parvati went up to the room with Al holding hands. It was great. Parv loves Al. <3

[Harry Potter]

Harry turned the corner so they were standing just where Al and him had talked before dinner and he looked down at him and sighed. "Right, I don't know how to put this but look, I'm in love with your fatherI am not fond of your family, alright? I have known your dad for many years and we do not get along well." He told him honestly. "Now both Ginny and Albus told me that you are different and I trust their judgment. I just want to tell you that if you hurt my son, in any way, you will regret it, okay?"

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius had followed Mr. Potter, somewhat relieved that they were talking in private. He listened quietly, fully expecting and understanding where Mr. Potter was coming from. Nodding, he opened his mouth to say that he understand, but closed his mouth and thought for a second. "I know that the history between you and my family isn't a good one, but I really do want to assure you that I am nothing like them. I don't know how much you know, but I don't associate with my father or mother at all anymore. They kicked me out and are as good as dead to me. I never...I never really understood love before Al and I got together," he admitted quietly. "I didn't have the best track record with relationships, but being with Al taught me that there was so much more than...well...physical aspects to relationships. He's changed me and I never want to go back to the person I was. I will do everything I can to keep your son happy. He means the world to me and I don't know where I'd be without him. I know this whole thing must have been surprising...but I really do love your son and I will continue loving him forever." He paused for a moment, then said what had really been on his mind. "I know you're reluctant to really accept me, but I hope you do. I plan on being in Al's life and loving him forever if he lets me. I know family means a lot to him, so I just...I hope that you could grow to like me," he said softly before quieting, realizing he had been talking for quite a bit. "Sorry," he mumbled, hoping Mr. Potter wasn't offended by him talking for so long.

[Harry Potter]

Harry looked down at the boy as he talked on and on about Al, his eyes widened slightly as he realized that Scorpius must be pretty fond of Albus if he talks about him like this considering it sounded just like how he felt about Ginny since about 6th year. "Right...It's fine." She said, not quite sure why the boy apologized because he had basically said everything that Harry really wanted to hear. "Well thank you, Scorpius, I am glad we are on the same page with how important Al's happiness is so us." He told him, giving him a small smile to hopefully calm the kid down, because he seemed a tad bit nervous to be talking to him. Which he totally didn't understand, what was such a big deal about Harry that made kids nervous around him and made them stare. Was it because he battled dragons? Defeated voldemort? Whatever it was wasn't important right now. "Thank you, for telling me all of that Scorpius." He said honestly. "It was pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear from you." He said, debating on giving him a little fatherly hug before sending him off to head upstairs, but deciding against it. "And about your family, if you ever need a place to stay at, somewhere that you can call home. You're welcome here."

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius found Mr. Potter’s smile more than reassuring, it communicating that there really was no reason to be so timid or nervous. He was more than relieved that what he said had apparently been the right thing. Not that it was really rehearsed or anything, for it had come directly from the heart. He hoped it sounded genuine and from Mr. Potter’s reaction, it seemed as though it really had. Scorpius found himself smiling softly, his expression rather startled when Mr. Potter soon told him he could always stay at the house. “Thank you,” he replied. “I…it really means a lot,” he said sincerely. “I honestly don’t know what Al and I would have done if his side of the family wasn’t so accepting,” he admitted.

[Harry Potter]

Harry gave him a smile. "Well, I will always love my kids no matter who they choose to be or who they choose to be with." He said giving him a smile. "I'll tell you this Scorpius. You're definitely doing a good job at your first impression." He told him and placed a hand on his shoulder, firmly but not so firmly that it would hurt. "Why don't you head upstairs with Al and Parvati now. That's all I had to talk to you about." He said, giving him one last small smile before turning and walking into the kitchen. "Go ahead, James. I'll take care of the rest of the dishes." He told him as he walked over to the sink.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius nodded, wishing that his parents had been the same way. That wasn't the case though and as much as he wished it had gone differently, there was nothing that he could do about it. He had Al and that's really all that mattered in the end. He smiled softly, glad that he was making a good impression thus far. "Alright," he replied. "Thanks again Mr. Potter," he said as he made his way up the stairs. He stopped outside of Al's, figuring that he had to grab his bag out of there and he wanted to see his boyfriend. "Knock, knock," he said, resting in the doorway and alerting Al and Parv of his presence.

[Albus Severus Potter]

Al stopped talking to Parvati as he heard his boyfriend's familiar voice, and turned his head to see Scorpius standing in the doorway. He smiled over at him from his comfortable seat on the bed, glad to see his boyfriend in one piece. That must have been a sign that the talk with his dad hadn't gone too terribly, right? "Hey, you," he greeted softly.

[Parvati Patil]

Parvati glanced over at Scorpius when he walked in and smiled at him before setting her bag down on the ground in Al's room. She glanced between the two of them for a moment before stepping towards the door. "If you guys want some time along to talk or whatever I can stand out in the hall or something.." She said as she stood near the doorway, prepared to go out into the hall if they wanted to talk.

[James Sirius Potter]

James was more than pleased when his father relieved him from dishes duty, immediately heading to the stairs and lightly running up them. He heard Parvati's voice, meeting her at the doorway to Al's room. "No need to wait in the hallway for them," he told her with a smile. "Come on, I'll show you my room if you want," he suggested, reaching out to take her hand in his.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius gave Parvati a relieved look, glad to just have a moment alone with Al. "Thanks," he told her. He was about to comment about how they wouldn't be too long, but James had come up and he figured that there really wasn't any rush then. Once Parvati and James had left, he moved over to Al's bed and sat on the edge of it. "Your dad's a really nice guy," he said, a smile still on his face. "He just wanted to make sure I wouldn't hurt you."

[Parvati Patil]

Parvati grinned widely as James came up and said that he will show her his room, she was quite excited to see his room. That room where that deer mural was years ago. The room in which James was almost scared to death. I'm sorry. <.< I should stop with the mural talk, it's probably embarrassing for James. She stepped past Scorpius and out the doorway, her hand grabbing James' hand as she smiled at him and waited for him to lead her to his room where all the magic happens, that sounds super dirty but I didn't even mean it that way.
