Regulus looks at him in shock. "What are you talking about? You seemed fine with it earlier. If you had a problem with me being friend with him, you could have just told me then!" he said, hurt.

Regulus looked at him in horror. "What the- Scorpius- but how did he- oh SHIT!" he exclaimed, burying his face in his hands. Scorpius and Cormac shared a dorm- Scorpius must have come in at some point and seen- oh sweet baby porcupines in top hats, he must have though- OH MERLIN! Regulus grabbed Viktor by the arm. "Stop. I don't know what Scorpius told you, but it's not what it sounds like. And you should know that already. You know me better than that. Or did you forget my reaction to the first- and last- time he tried anything with me?"

Regulus felt a surge of guilt at the look in his eyes and wrapped his arms around Viktor, unable to help himself. "Stop. Don't look at me like that," he murmured, shutting his eyes and clinging to Viktor. "I'm sorry. It happened- a few days after that thing happened with us- he found me in the dungeons, horribly sick and upset, and he was trying to help. So we talked a little and I told him what happened and he took me to his dorm and since we were both miserable about our lives we drank a little... and you know that a little for you is an enormous amount for me and I guess I passed out on his bed. And he apparently did the same, or so he said in the morning when we woke up. Nothing happened. Nothing! He told me so himself," he said, trying to sound as confident as possible. "I'm sorry, Viktor. I know it must have sounded horrible, but really, there wasn't anything- I love you."

Viktor can't help himself and wraps his arms around Regulus because he loves him. Alex hugs Viktor because he's going to get his heartbroken soon and it's going to be depressing. He plays with Regulus hair and kisses him on the cheek. "Ok...I believe you. Sorry for snapping. It's just- the vay Scorpius said it made it sound different."

Regulus sighed in relief and snuggled him. "I know. I can imagine, how horrible it must have sounded," he whispered, resting his head on Viktor's shoulder. "I love you. I'm not going to do something stupid like that, alright? You're the only man I want."

Viktor smiled and hugged the cuddle bunny because cuddle bunnies are sexy. "I love you too." He rested his head on top of Reg's and whispered, "I trust you."

Regulus cringed, but not so much that Viktor would be able to notice. Don't! Stop! Don't trust me, I'm so bad, so horrible, I'm the worst boy you could ever ask for... "I know you'd never lie to me," he replied, squeezing him tightly, knowing how true that statement was. He felt sick to his stomach and kissed him roughly on the lips, looking into his eyes with all the love in his heart. "I love you. But I don't feel so good right now- I think I might be sick. I'm gonna head up to the hospital wing or something, alright?" he asked, clinging to him.

"Nah, I think I'll be alright. Stomach bug," he said, shrugging. He kisses him softly on the lips and tries not to look him in his sad eyes. "I'll be alright. I'll see you tomorrow, okay? And I'll shower you with love and adoration," he said with a smile, and leaving Viktor by the trees. The moment he's out of sight Regulus bolts back into the castle for his dormitory.

"Hope you feel better," he smiled and watched Regulus leave feeling relieved that what happened with Cormac was nothing. He gets up and heads back to his common room.

Lily walked down to her tree by the lake, leaning against it. It was wonderful to get away to think...about Hermione's coming baby, Sev, the upcoming prom...enough thoughts to overwhelm her mind on a lesser day.

Severus smiled at that and touched her cheek. "I'm great," he said, hugging her close. "So, er, that prom that's coming up- are we going together? I mean, would you like to?"

Lily rolled her eyes and looked serious. "No, Sev. I've already made plans to go with some other guy. " Unable to keep the straight face, she laughed and kissed him. "I'd never go with anyone else...i'd love to go with you Sev. You realize this is the first dance since we've started dating?"

Severus looked like he was having a heart attack until she laughed, and then hugged her tightly. "Don't tease me like that! I panic, and you know it," he said with a chuckle. "And yes, I do. This will be nice, I think?"
