Faye walked into the Quidditch Pitch and moved to sit in the stands.

Scorpius continues flying when he sees someone enter the stands. On closer inspection he notices that it's Faye and he freezes. He debates between just continuing to fly, leaving her to her thoughts, and going over and attempting to talk to her. He decides to bite the bullet, hoping that she won't turn him away, and flies over. "Hi," he says as he slowly comes closer to her. He remains on his broom, unsure if she is going to want to talk to him or not.

Faye sighed and propped her legs up on the seats beneath her, staring off into nowhere. She had thought the pitch was empty and her hand moved to her pocket to pull out a cigarette. She jumped at the sound of Scorpius' voice. She felt the pack of cigarettes drop below the stands and did not move to pick them up. Instead, she pretended nothing had fallen and tried to think of something to say, "Um. Hi, I didn't know you were going to be here..." She didn't want to annoy him, "I can leave if you want. I know I'm probably the last person you want to see..."

"No, that's not it at all. I mean, before, I was avoiding you, but not now," Faye's eyes darted from his face to where the pack had fallen. She bit her lip and looked back up at him, "I'm sorry about everything, I really am. I'm sorry I made myself untrustworthy."

Scorpius sighs, then moves forward a bit to get off his broom and onto the stands. "It wasn't just you," he says while sitting down. "I mean, I'm pissed that you went and shagged Grindelwald again, but if I wasn't such a fucking arse who messed everything up, then you probably wouldn't have gone to him. I just...all of this is new, and it's hard for me. I...I wanted things to work, I think maybe I just wanted it too much," he says glancing out at the pitch.

"Who said I shagged Grindelwald? We only kissed at the ball! I left before it escalated to anything else!" Faye replied, wondering if people were spreading rumors, "And, even if you were an arse, it doesn't justify my actions. You said you trusted me and I threw that out the window. I can't even tell you anything about myself! I know about your family, at least the gardening bit. What do you know about me?"

"You didn't shag him again?" he asks, his gaze snapping to her and showing a mixture of bewilderment, elation, and relief. "It's just...when you came back from the gala, I thought," he broke off. "And you're right, I don't know anything about you. All I know is that you're a half-blood. But how am I supposed to know anything if you don't open up?"

"No, I didn't shag him! I only kissed him and then I left and saw you in the common room! If I had known you thought that, I would have cleared it up right away," She was about to ask why he thought they had shagged, but that didn't matter, "I don't like talking about myself. You wouldn't approve of some of the things I do and I don't like sharing them," Faye muttered. She glanced back over her shoulder and reached her arm down casually, so he wouldn't notice anything.

"Well, that's fine," he says scratching the back of his neck. "Everyone is entitled to keep some of their skeletons in the closet. Though, it is slightly concerning that you do things you think I wouldn't approve of. It's none of my business though."

"I shouldn't keep these things from you, don't you understand?" Faye looked over at him, slipping the pack into her back pocket without him noticing, "You're supposed to be someone I can share these things with. I feel obligated to, but when I try...the words don't come out. I'm afraid you'll be ashamed of me."
