Sev felt a little guilty when Lily mentioned him not being drunk- after all, less than 24 hours ago he'd been wasted, and throwing himself at Pansy, for that matter. The thoughts were wiped from his mind as Lily rested her head against him. Was this even REAL? Is Lily Evans really in my arms, holding me close with her head on my shoulder? I don't care if this is reality, it's fantastic. "Haha, I have no idea how I'm managing this. We never got around to those lessons, after all. It's a wonder I am still standing, and haven't broken your foot!" He noticed that she looked a little stressed, and rested his hand on the back of her head, loving the feel of her fiery hair. "You okay, Lily?"

George shook his head at her, but promised to stay at least half sober and look after her. "Accio butterwhiskey" he said grabbing a bottle and taking a small drink.

George summoned another bottle and put what he had left of the floating powder into her and his bottles. "Why don't you take a sip and find out?"

Lily sighed, and led them so they were standing by the edge of the dance floor, and she just hugged Sev. "I think i'm just sort of tired, Sev. " She looked up at him, and stood back, making herself more energetic, and twirled with a smile. "I'm alright, otherwise.." Her smile faded a bit, and she held back a yawn as she gave him another tight hug, wondering if she should go to bed and get a nap for a bit of the dance. She didn't feel like moving, Sev was so kind to her, just an amazing friend. It was quite comfortable to be hugged when she was tired, though she knew she couldn't fall asleep here, she had to go and at least nap at some point soon.

Sev held her close, sensing her stress and exhaustion. He stood there hugging her in silence for a bit, running his fingers through her long hair and reveling in this perfect moment. He suddenly remembered how he must look- he'd left the classroom in a daze after he and Remus were done fooling around, and had been far too disoriented to so much as dress himself in his robes properly, forget actually remembering to change into his dress robes. His hair was a ruddy mess, as well- yet Lily somehow didn't seem to notice, didn't seem to mind. He was suddenly very self conscious of the marks Remus had left on his neck, and adjusted his collar in hopes that it covered enough that they wouldn't be noticed. He returned his attentions to the angel in his arms, and kissed her softly on her forehead. "You sure you're alright? You look sleepy. Would you rather we just sat down somewhere together?"

Lavender walked into the Great Hall for the first time. She had been cooped up in her dormitory for the passed two days and felt like she missed out on so much. Everyone seemed to be going crazy. She glanced around to see if she could find anyone she new.
"Umm, hello everyone!"

Lily sighed, and stepped back from Severus. "I think i'll go take a nap..I'll come back to the ball later, promise... [a.k.a. tomorrow the last day. :/ ] I just need some rest I think. " She took his hands for a moment and smiled. "Thank you for this dance, Sev, really. I'm so glad you could come. I'll see you later though!"
She turned and grabbed her bag, heading for the stairs, pausing once, and only to take her heels off. They were getting uncomfortable. She left the dance, hoping to get to a common room couch if not her bed, just for a bit.

Severus sighed as Lily removed herself from his arms, leaving the ball. He hadn't gotten to tell her how amazing she was. Or had he? He didn't remember. He noticed Pansy, and skipped up to her, his ridiculous grin returning. "HI PANSYYYYY! Sorry I forgot to come back earlier, I got lost in thought. Lots of happy, sexy thoughts. Mmm!" Severus sighed happily, thinking back to Remus' skin against his, and the many things they'd done. He adjusted his collar again, still praying that nothing showed.
