He laughs and tries to shove Dotty off of his face. "Dotty stop that!" He holds the creature up at Hermione. "It's a Crumple Horned Snorkack. I went with Luna, Dean, and a few others to Sweden and we found a whole family of them! The others are running around somewhere. You should have seen Luna's face when we found them. I'm pretty sure it was the happiest day of her life." He shoves Dotty into her lap. "Look she's friendly!"

"Hmm...well we'll probably bring them back when we go back to Sweden. Luna's going to organize a return trip." He feels sad because he's going to miss Dotty when they go back. He takes Dotty from her arms and cuddles the snorkack who licks him on the face again. "She's so cute!"

Well yes, she is very cute honey. But how is that fair to them? You can't just cart them round the world to suit yourselves because they're cute. And then dump them back where they came from later! How would you like that? To be taken away from your home with no say in the matter and for no apparent reason, and then sent back just as abruptly! What if something else moves into their territory? What if they forget how to look after themselves? What if they can't adapt?

[rant mode is scary...*now knows what Ron and Harry must have felt like while Herms was giving them the S.P.E.W. rant* also I'm going to be leaving in 10 minutes or so so I'm going to dispose of Remus for a while just have him walk off I guess.]

He sighs knowing she's pretty much right and there's no point in arguing. "True..." He looks up at the sky noticing that it looks like it may rain at some point and now he can smell it in the air. He stands up tucking Dotty under his arm and kisses the top of Hermione's head. "I'm heading off to the library, I want to look some things up. I'll talk to you later." He turns and walks off humming lightly to himself.

[ack...I can't dump him in the library anyways because Sev and Pansy are in there...oh well I'll just have him be nowhere until I get back.]
