He continues to trail kisses on her neck and shoulders then rests his head on her chest. He releases her arms playing with her hair, draping it over her face so she can't see and he laughs. "I love you."

*She starts playing with his hair lightly with one hand, the other slipping down to rub his back*

I wish we never had to go back - things would be so much easier if we could just lay here forever...

A sort of purring noise rumbles in the back of his throat as she plays with his hair.
"Things would be..." He laughs then, "Then let's do it. Let's lay here forever." He knew that wouldn't work and that they'd have to go back to their lives at some point but for now it was nice just to lay here with her, together.

*she smiles a little to herself as she hears the little rumbling noises coming from deep in his chest and wonders if he even knows he's doing it. she notices it seems to get a little deeper whenever she plays with the hair at the base of his skull so she concentrates on that area, tugging lightly at the soft strands between her fingers*

He sighed happily, though slightly embarrassed when he notices the noises he was making, "Love do you have any idea what that is doing to me?" He was tired but he didn't want her to stop playing with his hair.

*She's glad his face is turned away from hers and he can't see the smug grin that steals over her face before she can repress it. Oh yeah, she could definitely stay here forever.*

He laughs, glad that she can't really see his face because it's as red as a quaffle. "I wasn't aware I was making any noise at all but then I did notice...so silly haha."

*closes her eyes, sort of missing the sound of his purring now that it had stopped for him to talk to her*

He grins and closes his eyes listening to her heartbeat. He finds himself slowly slipping off to sleep he's so relaxed.

He doesn't respond but summons a blanket and covers them with it. Then he snuggles close kissing her. "I'm sleeping here. Where ever you are anyways." He closes his eyes again drifting off to sleep. "I love you."

Remus woke up wondering briefly why he was outside but then remembered. Oh right I was taking a walk, ran into Sev, then ended up here with Hermione. He looked over at the sleeping girl and smiled. She really was beautiful.
He hated when the nagging feeling came back teasing him in the back of his mind. What have I done to deserve someone like you love? I've screwed things up for you so many times if it were me in your position I would hate myself by now. I almost do hate myself...no stop thinking about that. You may have proven you inability to control yourself that night in the Shack but you've also proven that you can control yourself. You're not a complete and total monster Lupin. Except you still wanted to hit him right? You would have too but you fought me back, honestly I never get to have any fun. You won't be able to control me for long. Someday I'll win and you won't be able to stop me anymore. An exasperated groan escaped his lips and he turned his face into Hermione's shoulder trying to stamp out his thoughts.

*Hermione wakes feeling... odd. On the one hand, there's the warm and comforting presence on her shoulder that she's come to associate with Remus and it makes her smile. On the other hand, she seems to have slept on a rock. Lovely. She rolls her shoulders a little - she's going to be a bit achy today.*

There was no way he was going to let her know what he'd been thinking. It was too early to get hit by a book or something. He turned to lay on his back and stretched.
"I ache...I think it's cause we slept on a rock last night." He laughs and pushes the bad thoughts from his mind. No use worrying over them right now.
