Re: Secret Corridor in the Dungeons

Pansy made her way through the dungeons. Draco had gone to sleep, but she didn't feel tired in the least and had gone to wander the castle for a while. Upon seeing the Gryffindor down here, her brows pressed together confused. "What're you doing in these parts of the castle?"

Angela looked up, startled. "Oh uh...I can leave? I just-I needed to go somewhere i could think" she looked awkwardly at the ground

"Oh, uh. No you're fine. Just don't usually see Gryffindors down here, is all." Pansy noticed the girl looked upset, and felt oddly compassionate. "Er, you alright?"

she looked at the girl, confused "er...not really, no. my-my boyfriend cheated on me...with another guy..." she didn't know why she was burdening a complete stranger with her problems

She felt bad for the girl, and even worse when she added the bit about it being with another guy. Ouch. Pansy couldn't imagine how she would deal with that. There would probably be a murder, possibly two. Pansy, not being the greatest comforter in the world, walked over to the girl and sat down with her back against the wall, inviting the other to sit with her. "Care to talk about it?" She pulled out her wand and waved it, summoning up a couple bottles of firebeer from her dormitory.

"uhh...sure? I'm Angela by the way..." she sat by the girl and took a firebeer. "Well...I guess my boyfriend, George Weasely, screwed Severus Snape." she snorted. "told me on prom night."

"Pansy," she added, introducing herself as she handed over the firebeer. "Wait. He slept with Severus? Severus Snape? Holy shit, I'm. going. to. kill. him." The last bit she said mostly to herself, but it didn't matter. After he'd mentioned kissing Dolohov in his letter to her, she was angry enough, but now this? Oh, Severus was going to pay.

"you know him?" she asked off hand. "yea. him. I don't know what to do. he lied to me. he promised to love me forever. he lied..." she was sad and she was going to be sad until Pansy taught her other ways. she took a long swig of firebeer

"Oh yeah, I know him..." Pansy glared at the wall across from her, but quickly softened her face, realizing Ange was talking again. She shrugged "Eh. Boys lie. It's what they do, and they're not even good at it." Pansy took a drink of firebeer, realizing it had been a while since the last time she'd had any. "So what are you planning to do about it?" She looked at her out of the corner of her eye, plotting in the back of her mind various ways to torture Severus Snape to the point of insanity and inability to ever have sex again.

"do? what am i going to do? i don't know...i figured wallowing in my own self pity was going to be good for a while..." she broke off and scoffed. the random kissing isn't going to help me thinks...

Pansy turned and looked at her. "Wallowing in self-pity? WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" She took another drink from her firebeer. "You have absolutely no reason to feel sorry for yourself. He was the one who screwed up. Leave his ass in the dust. Make him see what he lost, and make him beg to get it back." She shrugged and smirked as she glanced at her bottle, checking the diminishing levels of liquid inside. "Weasley messed it up, so Weasley gets to fix it."

she looked at the girl "but...I still love him. my heart hurts just thinking about him. Pansy...how can i just, forget about him?"

"Hey now, I didn't say forget about him. I know there are people you can't just forget about." She paused to take another drink, thinking of Draco. "But sometimes, people don't realize what they have until it's taken away from them. So, remove yourself, and see if he comes after you. If he does, well, then he's worth another shot." Pansy flicked her wand again, summoning another pair of firebeers from her room. "It's tough, but you've just got to suck it up sometimes and do it. Separate yourself from him, pretend you don't care as much as I know you probably do, and see if he tries to fix it. You'll know, then." She nodded, draining her first bottle and opening the second. She didn't realize she was pretty much sharing exactly what had been happening in her life with the Gryffindor, but if things worked for her like they had for Pansy, she'd be happy again soon enough.

she nodded and finished her first bottle, reaching for another "right. distance myself. how can i do that? i mean, we're both in Gryffindor. I see him almost daily..." she looked sad

"True. I had the same issue. Though, he was so torn up about it he hardly left his dorm, actually. But anyway... You'll figure it out. You can always fill your time plotting revenge on one Severus Snape." Pansy nudged her with her elbow, laughing a little as several excellent torturous ideas came to mind.

Pansy smirked at her, taking another long drink of firebeer. "Of course you can help. Two on one is much more effective. And I always like to get some new ideas, which I am sure you could supply." She laughed, pulling out her wand yet again and summoning up half a dozen more bottles. That should last a little longer. She noticed they were Incendio level, and wondered if the Gryff could handle them, but wasn't too worried about it.

Ange drained her second bottle and gratefully helped herself to a third. "I wanna kill that little shit. no. i wanna make sure he never gets pleasure ever again." she glared at the floor

"Killing is so... barbaric. Torture, now that's the good stuff. Make the suffering last, and make them think about what they've done and whose lives they've messed with. Make them wish they were dead, but never give them that escape of it. Nope." Pansy had narrowed her eyes by now, staring over the mouth of her bottle of firebeer. Normally, she would be appalled that she was talking about such things with some girl she'd just met, a Gryffindor no less, but the firebeer had taken effect and loosened her tongue and she didn't notice. "We could make sure he never even thinks about sex again." With that, Pansy smiled quite sadistically, knowing that Severus Snape was probably peeing himself in Eowyn's head right now.

Pansy lifted an eyebrow at her. "Are you up for this, seriously?" She nearly chuckled. "To think, it's this easy to sway a Gryffindor to the ways of darker magic. Well, we'll do a little plotting later, I think. It'll help you get away from that Weasley of yours for a while, anyway."

she smirked "I think so. I mean...he's a bastard. I want him to hurt." she inwardly surprised herself at how twisted she was becoming. she blamed George and the alcohol. "sounds like a good idea. just let me know what to do"

Pansy smiled at her newly adopted protege. "You've got promise, you know that? I'll send my owl with a note later so we can meet and do some plotting to make Severus Snape sorry he left his dormitory that day. For now, I think I'm headed off to my dormitory. Got to catch up on a few hours of sleep." Pansy stood up and emptied the firebeer in her hand, vanishing her other empty bottles with her wand. There were still four or five full ones in the floor. "You can keep those, if you like." She turned and headed down the corridor, shouting back over her shoulder. "Don't go soft on me, Ange. Don't go crawling back to that dirty cheater just yet. And keep an eye out for my owl tomorrow." Pansy rounded the corner and headed to the common room because I am tired and should go to bed and am a considerate person and do not like to leave scenes only half finished tying up threads around here.
