Regulus stood there fuming when Marid disappeared, but was filled with a sense of dread. He would pay for this, and he knew it as well as Eowyn does.

The Djinn bobblehead just stood there. Grinning suddenly, he winked and waved at Reg and then disappeared.

Regulus kicks at the air where the fake Djinn had stood, and pulls out the drugs, which is why he'd come here in the first place. He selects the cocaine this time, craving the old, familiar sting. He has to spend several minutes searching for a good vein that hadn't collapsed, courtesy of the heroin. He curls up on the ground and rests his head on his knees, wishing more than ever for Gellert to be here, to hold him again, to keep him safe as he drove the needle into his flesh, counting down as he waited for the drugs to take hold of him.

Djinn watched disapprovingly from a corner of he ceiling. Sure, it was easy hiding himself from that golden loser...but his friend? No. He really wanted to yank the needle away from Reg but thatmigth alert him. So, he stood there and cried, tiny drops of silver dripping down to the floor, and then he disappeared.

Reg's eyes widened as they always did, and he could feel the change overcoming him. He stood up, unable to stay still, and was surprised to feel something cold drip down on him, landing on his face. He reached a finger out to touch it, and gasped when he saw the silver. "Djinn. I know you're alive. You must be," he whispered to the empty corridor, before walking away again.

Regulus walks back down to the corridor and is about to pull out his needle when he hears footsteps. He pales when he turns to see who it is. "Cormac."

Regulus sighed. "He is, Cormac. He treats me well. He takes care of me, he's there when I need him, for whatever I need him for. And he's the only one that can make me forget," he said sadly, looking utterly miserable.

Cormac was in pain. He was hurting. He could feel tears coming and his throat started to croak. "I have to tell you something Reg." A tear slowly made it's way down Cormac's left eye. "I promised myself I wouldn't say this."

Regulus is shocked when Cormac starts to cry, and is utterly at a loss as to how to react. "Cormac- what's wrong?"

"I promised I - I can't - B-B-But I have t-to.. But I still could! No I can't - it's too late." Cormac began mumbling nonsense. More and more tears came flowing and he reached over and grabbed one of Reg's hands. "I spoke with Viktor the other day."

Regulus is absolutely terrified because boys other than him and his emo buddy are NOT supposed to cry, and he has no idea what to do other than gape at his words. "What- what did he say?" he breathed, his heart pounding.

"H-He still.." Cormac gasped for breath, "He still loves you Reg! He really does!" Cormac fell back and covered his hands to his face and tucked his legs up. He wanted to get Reg to himself.. away from Gellert. He saw no other solution.

Regulus' jaw drops and he stares at Cormac incredulously. "He- he still- WHAT?!?!" He promptly jumps to his feet, almost entirely forgetting about the boy sobbing on the ground in his anxiety and sudden hope, before he sits back down, forcing himself to listen to all of what Cormac has to say before going on a rampage to find his love. "Cormac, why are you so upset about it?"
