Gideon smirks. "I look forward to it." He watches Lily, before following a step behind as she heads towards the register. "That's all you need?" He asks, wondering whether she needed clothes as well or whether she was planning on walking about in her underwear. Which he won't mind as long as she doesn't leave the apartment, open the curtains, or answer the door.

Lily does intend on walking around the apartment in her underwear, for Gideon's information. But she also intends on stealing one of his shirts to wear over the top of it, which will be long enough to match some of the dresses and skirts she's seen on the girls walking about London today. She shakes her head, shooting a quick smile at the clerk before flipping open her purse to find her debit card once more. "No, as long as I can use the laundry tonight I should be fine for tomorrow," she assures Gideon. "To be honest I've rather had enough of shopping for today," she admits.

Gideon is very pleased to hear that, and seeing as Lily will be wearing one of his shirts, he has decided to even the score and go without one. Not really sure how that works, but whatever. He smiles back at her. "Sure we can! And I think that's the fastest shopping trip I've ever been on. Fairly unsurprisingly, shopping trips with Fabian or Molly are long - and it's even worse when they go shopping together and drag me along."

Lily is not going to complain about that. She's not even going to bother pointing out how flawed that logic is. She chuckles as she takes her bag and they head back towards the exit. "I can only imagine. Besides, they only want you along to carry things, you know," she points out, smiling at Gideon as they begin the short walk back to the apartment.

The logic is flawed, but Gideon is all about sharing. And equality, at least when it comes to clotheslessness. Which isn't even a word. He grins at Lily wryly. "You think I don't realise? They use me for transport, as a packhorse and as a mobile ATM. They use me and abuse me, my siblings; I'm so hard done by." He sighs, placing a hand on his heart melodramatically.

Lily does like it when people share. And she is all about equality. "Poor darling, such a hard life you lead. For what it's worth, I think it's great that you all actually want to do things together anyway." She looks up, nose wrinkled in thought because she really hasn't had time to get used to the area. She's not even been here a day after all. "Is this the one?" she asks, because it looks like the daylight version of the building they'd arrived at the night before.

And this equality does happen to benefit her, as well as him. "I know, it's just so difficult!" He continues. "Well, sometimes Molly pays me in cookies." He admits, now looking a little sheepish, before defending himself. "But only sometimes! Other times I just go with them out of the goodness of my own heart." He nods, feeling like he's managed to not makes himself look like an idiot. Just.

This whole time, he's been walking on autopilot, but he stops and looks up when Lily speaks. "Yes, yes it is!" He answers, pulling his key out of his back pocket and opening the door.

"Philanthropist," Lily accuses, laughing as Gideon pulls his key out and lets them into the apartment building. She crosses the floor with him and takes the lift up to the correct level. When Gideon lets them both into the apartment, even though she'd love nothing more than to sink onto the couch and veg out with Gideon for a while, she forces herself to keep moving. It's strange, but she already feels quite at home. She thinks it's more to do with being with Gideon than the actual space, though. She gathers up her discarded clothing from the previous day, assures Gideon she won't be long, and disappears into the bathroom. It's a large bathroom that also has a laundry nook, and given that the Prewetts have the best of everything the washing machine is a two-in-one washer and dryer. Lily takes a quick shower, washing away the grime of the city and using some of either Molly or Alice's hairpins to pin her hair up out of the way. She dresses herself in her new undergarments -yes, Gideon, the blue ones- and slips into one of his shirts. She stuffs both the borrowed clothing from Alice, and her own dirty things into the washing machine and sets the cycle so it will wash and dry. Finally, she steps back into the living area, Gideon's shirt brushing her thighs as she walks, and smiles at him. "That's loads better," she says with a little sigh.

Gideon just laughs as they enter the building and head up to the apartment. While Lily takes a quick shower, Gideon ducks into his usual room, grabbing a pair of trousers that aren't jeans, changing into them. Much more comfortable, he also pulls his shirt over his head, chucking it across the room into the laundry basket in the corner. He'll wash them later - another time - eventually. When Lily returns into the room, commenting, he steps back into the living room, nodding. "Less socially acceptable, but definitely more comfortable." He nods, moving over to the couch and settling himself on it before reaching for the remote.

"Good thing society is outside and far away," Lily says with a smile. She joins Gideon on the couch, curling up so that her back is pressed into his side and she can burrow under one of his arms. Seeing as Gideon has the remote, she reaches for one of the bags of books they'd returned to drop on the coffee table earlier in the day and pulls out The Book of the Duchess so that Gideon can choose what to watch this time without feeling like he has to do everything her way all weekend. She very much appreciates that Gideon has foregone his shirt, by the way, and she twists her neck so she can look up at him. "You're always so much warmer than I am. It's not fair, really."

"Indeed," Gideon agrees. As Lily joins him on the couch, he drapes an arm over her shoulder loosely, his hand falling against her stomach. He flicks through the channels for a while, trying to find something to watch, before settling on some random news show. He smiles as she speaks. "I agree it's not fair, but I have to say, I have no idea just how that works."

Lily rests her book on her legs, holding it open to her page with one hand while the other rests gently on top of Gideon's hand splayed lazily across her stomach. Her attention flickers back and forth between her book, which is always interesting, and the news, which occasionally shows something of interest. "Hmm, maybe we were all animals in a past life, and that's the clue. I might've been a fish I think, because that's a little bit nicer than having been a reptile, don't you think? I don't know what you were," she muses, thinking about it for a second. "Maybe a bear. You're always warm, and you do eat quite a lot. Do you like sleeping late during winter?" she wonders, her mind running through possibilities because now she's also wondering if her newly born theory about past animal selves could be linked to a person's patronus, as well.

Gideon watches Lily flick her eyes between book and TV, only paying a little attention to the news himself. "Could be..." He wonders aloud. "A fish? I can see that - but you'd probably have been a goldfish or something - something with at least a little red. I might've been a bear - wait, are you asking me if I like sleeping late during winter? Babe, I always like sleeping late, and I try and make a habit of it whenever possible!" He insists, and now AJ is thinking about that as well, and picturing Lily as a Goldeen. >.>

"I was hoping for a salmon or something. You know, something that doesn't have the reputation for losing its memory every five seconds," Lily comments, while Mya giggles because pairing a salmon with a bear is just... awkward. She doesn't know how she feels being compared to something out of Pokemon, either. She chuckles lightly. "Definitely a bear, then. You don't have a secret picnic basket fetish you've been hiding now, do you?" she wonders, because she's suddenly had the best mental picture of Gideon running through Hyde Park stealing people's pic-a-nic baskets and she can't help but laugh at the goings on within her own mind.

"Well, a salmon works well too. Are you good at defying the norm, swimming against the current, as it were?" Gideon grins. "Picnic baskets? Can't say I've ever used one, actually. Why - is that some Muggle reference I'm not getting or something?" He asks, because AJ has decided he knows nothing of Yogi Bear. He continues to grin as Lily laughs, even though he obviously has no idea what is in her head.

"That'd be me," Lily agrees, completely unabashed. Her laughter dies off and she shakes her head, smiling as the reference goes over Gideon's head. "Nevermind, babe. Old Muggle cartoon reference- as in, from well before I was born even. Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo-Boo used to run around Jellystone Park trying to steal picnic baskets from people. And there was a Park Ranger who was Yogi's arch-nemesis - I forget his name though," Lily says because Mya has completely forgotten too. >.>

"Before we were born? Well then, how was I supposed to know it? Sounds... Strange." Gideon says, because really, pretty much all the children's cartoons are freaking strange when you think about them. Like Blinky Bill, which AJ watched today. >.> Gideon glances back to the TV, and notices the news is over. "Ugh, why is there nothing on? Maybe I should get out the games. I can't really be bothered..." He mutters, mostly to himself.

"Well they do repeat them all the time, so maybe you might've caught one of them sometime. I've never thought of it before, but I suppose all cartoons are pretty strange," Lily says, looking down at her book and chewing her lip as she thinks about it. Telletubbies are strange too. They freak Mya the fuck out. She looks around, noticing for the first time that Gideon is bored and restless, and closes her book. "Well if you wanted to play games, I could play too," she offers.

Gideon shrugs. "Maybe, but I don't remember it. They all are, though." He kind of wants to do something, but at the same time, he doesn't want to move. What can he do without moving? He has no idea. "I wouldn't subject you to that. I'm sure you wouldn't enjoy losing," he says, settling back onto the couch again. Pointless post is pointless and silly, but still a post.

At this stage, Lily would like to point out that reading doesn't involve moving. (And yes, she is smirking as she suggests that.) She scoffs a little and pokes Gideon in the stomach, shaking her head even though she can't help but hold back a chuckle. "Oh please. I'll have you know that my two best subjects are Charms and Mario Kart. One tournament and you'd be curled up crying in the corner, questioning your entire existence after having your arse handed to you by a girl," she brags. Of course, in reality she's only very good, not amazing at Mario Kart, but in her defence she's at Hogwarts nine months of the year and she's not all that into video games really, she only gets the urge to play them on occasion. Mostly Lily just likes to challenge Gideon's ego sometimes. She curls her legs up, Gideon's shirt bunching around her thighs, and shrugs. She's a little too committed to relaxing to come up with much herself - to be honest she is quite enjoying just lazily cuddling. "I don't know - what to you usually do when you're here?"

Gideon is too lazy to read. Oops? Gideon flinches a tiny bit, but not much - poking in the stomach is sensitive, after all. "So, which comes first, Mario Kart or Charms? I'm more of a Super Smash Bros. guy myself. But I'm sure you'd beat me - when I let you." He smirks. He probably plays games more often than Lily - after all, he is a boy - but not very much. Hogwarts isn't really conducive to being a video games wizard... Gideon's hand trails towards her legs, hovering on her hip gently. "To be fair, when I'm here, we're usually out alot. Clubbing, socialising, all sorts of things, but they generally involve the outdoors."

Oops indeed. "Charms, of course. Don't you know how very charming I am?" Lily responds with a snort that could be called ladylike if a snort could ever be ladylike. Her body shifts a little, automatically settling itself more comfortably against Gideon and smiling a little as she feels his hand drift down to settle on her hip; she loves the little touches he often gives her, they feel like little reminders of his affection and presence. Lily arches a coppery eyebrow. "Oh? When you let me? Really, babe, you just keep telling yourself that..." she graciously allows, before dropping the banter because even that is too much effort right now. She chews her lip a little, her face growing thoughtful. "I'm not old enough to go into muggle clubs," she says simply, as if the prospect of sneaking in has never occurred to her. She pauses, then, and does the math. Her lips quirk. "Of course, neither were you until a couple of months ago, were you?"

"Oh, of course. Obviously. How could I ever have thought otherwise?" Gideon snickers, breaking out into a full laugh at Lily's snort. "Well, I will let you. Don't worry..." As she realises this, he grins widely. "Oh yes, the penny drops." He smirks. "And no I wasn't. But there are underage clubs or club nights, wizarding clubs, and I have a fake ID. Not that they ask me for it. I look at least 25."

"You are getting old," Lily agrees with a smirk, trailing her fingers lightly down Gideon's face as if she's tracing wrinkles that don't yet exist. Her eyes widen a little in surprise, she's never thought about the notion of wizards having clubs tucked away all over London. "There are wizard clubs? Oh of course there are, there must be... I'm just used to only seeing magical things all amalgamated like in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. I don't think I've ever noticed any clubs in the Alley..." she trails off, looking a little uncertain, a little line appearing between her eyes as her face creases with the effort of trying to remember every single business she's ever seen in the main drag of Diagon Alley, which is all she has really visited.

"Oh, ha ha. Just because you're younger than me... Where else do you drink, other than someone else's house? That's not the place to meet people, either. And Muggle clubs don't serve Firewhiskey. Which is always disappointing." Gideon nods as he's speaking, emphasising his points as he goes. "I'm pretty sure there's one in Knockturn Alley."
