[Hehe. I'm actually probably gonna pass out soon, so if I stop responding, that means I fell asleep at the computer. And if that happens then GOODNIGHT I LOVE YOU!! And this was fun and I miss RPing soooooo much!! <3]

Reed pretended to ignore Kras and just kept flipping through the pictures. "I suppose you can have a copy. But only if you ask nice." He giggled and knew he'd probably give him a copy of every single picture on here so that he would be able to remember this trip always. Then Reed stopped walking and let out a little 'awww' at the last picture Lisa had taken. They weren't even doing anything really, just holding hands. But Reed was looking up at Kras with an adorable smile and both boys just looked so happy and it was one of those moments where the picture was taken just at the right time. "Even though I look so short next to you, look how adorable we are. Awwww."

Kras wasn't going to protest - he knew he could convince Reed to give him copies of all the pictures if he asked. When Reed stopped to 'aww' Kras looked over his shoulder to see - he was hoping it wasn't another picture of himself being childishly adorable, causing a picture that would embarrass him later. But nope, it was not. It was a picture of them looking absolutely happy together, holding hands. And Kras loved it. "We're perfect together." He commented quietly, giving Reed a loving look. It didn't matter what height Reed was; they would always look perfect together.

Reed blushed and smiled all chessily and I don't care that that isn't a word. "We are perfect together. No matter what anyone thinks. Now lets go see some lions!" He gripped Kras' hand a bit tighter, never ever wanting to let go. He made sure to keep his head up high because he was damn proud to call Kras his boyfriend, and nobody was going to make him feel bad about that.

Kras is pretty sure he just fell in love with Reed all over again. His boyfriend was strong and beautiful and Kras never wanted to let go of him ever. And he was kind of surprised he didn't trip over anything himself, because he was too busy watching Reed. It did not matter what anyone else said - they would love each other no matter what, and would always be perfect for each other. Oh and now the lions were in front of them; Kras hadn't noticed yet cause he was still too busy watching Reed. Oops. "Oooh...look at them." He commented quietly. "They're so strong and gorgeous. Like you." He added, whispering quietly to his boyfriend.

Reed could fell Kras' eyes on him, but he didn't want to look over because he knew he'd get lost in his boyfriends gaze and that just wasn't safe for anyone. He blushed when they reached the lions and shook his head. "I'm nothing like a lion. You are though. Big, strong, protective, gorgeous. You're the lion."

"Size doesn't really matter, baby." Kras replied quietly. "See that lion cub over there? It's just as strong, protective, and gorgeous as it's parents. So I think you're just like a lion. Which means I get to be the bear...but we'll still be friends and love each other because I'm sure those two can get along sometimes." Maybe not...the bears and lions would probably fight each other if they could, but they'd just ignore that little detail right now.

Reed was still blushing and trying to fight back his smile. "How in the world did get so lucky? You're amazing. Wanna head back? Or is there something else you wanna see? I'm about ready for a snack." He didn't want to eat too much since they would probably have a big dinner. Or he could always have Kras as a snack *blinks* Reed looked back at Lisa and Charlie, who were talking quietly amongst themselves. "Plus I'm sure out British companions are ready for their afternoon tea. Oooh maybe we can make some hot chocolate!"

Heck, if there was somewhere private they could go then Kras wouldn't mind having Reed for a snack either. *blinks as well* "You think you're lucky...I'm the lucky one." Kras grinned. "And even more so cause I get to keep you." He squeezed Reed's hand gently. Then he looked over at Lisa and Charlie too. "I bet they are. Hot chocolate sounds pretty yummy. I could go for that. And I'm good, cause we saw all the animals I really wanted to see. Are there anymore you'd like to see?"

Reed smiled and led the way over to Lisa and Charlie. "Okay. I think we're ready to go! Thanks for walking around with us all day. Sorry if I made you guys late for your tea." He giggled a little then the group left the zoo and got back in the their car. Reed suddenly felt really tired after walking around all afternoon and he quickly fell asleep against Kras' shoulder. And lame post is kind of lame because I can't brain right now.

Kras was actually rather energized after all the walking about - being around lots of people always gave him tons of energy - so he just enjoyed the fact that he got to watch Reed sleep. Without even looking away from his adorable sleeping boyfriend, Kras spoke quietly to Charlie and Lisa. "I wanted to say thanks to you both too for spending the day with us. I know you're both important to Reed and I enjoyed getting to know you two better." He gently reached up to brush some curls from Reed's closed eyes. "Every time he shares something or someone important to him with me it makes me feel all the more close to him. I thank god every day that I get to have him in my life." His face reddened a bit and he looked up to the front of the car. "Sorry...I'm being all mushy, aren't I?"

Lisa turned in her seat to smile at Kras. Her and Charlie shared a looked and Charlie spoke up. "And we would like to thank you as well. We can all see how much Reed has grown up just from knowing you. I know what happened earlier upset you both, and you both handled yourselves very well. I'm almost certain I wasn't that composed when that first happened to me. You boys are meant to be together, and don't ever forget that. People will constantly try to bring you down, but just remember that all you need is each other." He nodded into the rearview mirror and Lisa added, "and we're lucky we get to have you inour lives as well. As is Reed. I know his mother has a tendency to bring him down, and I can see how much you bring him back up."

Kras smiled up at both of them as they spoke. They were great people and Reed was lucky to have them in his life. "Thank you, both, very much." He replied softly, looking back down at his boyfriend. "We know...what we'll have to deal with just because we're together, but we have each other and we'll get through anything. Reed's happiness means the world to me. If he's having a bad day or is just upset over something I feel like I can't rest until he's smiling again. He's helped me more than he knows and I owe him everything." Sometimes the fact that Reed still wants Kras to love him still surprises Kras.

Lisa was about to say something when they hit a bump in the road and Reed suddenly shot up with a small yelp. "Aahh! Whuzzgoinon? Oh." Finally he looked around the car and immediately blushed. Lisa burst out laughing, Charlie joined in soon after and Reed shot them stony looks for laughing at him. He shot a warning look to Kras, telling him he better not laugh too. Then he mumbled,"sorry I fell asleep."

Kras looks down at Reed in surprise when he shouts. Luckily he managed to suppress his laughter, but he couldn't help grinning. "It's okay, Reed. I had fun watching you sleep." He took his boyfriend's hand,lacing their fingers together.

Reed sighs and rests his head against Kras' shoulder. "I should be creeped out by that statement, but I'm not. Guess I was more tired than I thought. And you're comfortable." He tilted his head up to smile at Kras. By now we'll assume they've pulled up to the loft. Yup. Lisa and Charlie share another look then Lisa addresses the boys. "You think you two can manage for a few hours? Charlie was telling me about this new tea shop and I would love to be able to try it out." Really though, the two adults wanted to give the boys some time to be alone, you know so they could talk about the zoo and what happened there and absolutely nothing else *blinks* Reed nods and they arrange a time to be ready for Charlie and his husband to come over for dinner. Then Reed crawls out of the car and waves goodbye. He smiles up at Kras and leads the way to the front door. "Well, I'm glad we didn't have to go with them. I don't really care for tea all that much." He shrugged and unlocked the front door, leading the way inside.

Kras is sure they'll be perfectly fine on their own for a bit. Absolutely dandy. He waves farewell too before following Reed to the door, chuckling at Reed's comment. "I don't mind tea, but a lot of the time I'd prefer coffee." Once they're inside Kras can't help but give Reed a huge hug and then of course he doesn't let go, because he'd rather not. "Mmm, I've been wanting to just hold you all day. And did I mention you're really cute when you sleep? I can't remember if I did or not..."

I don't get service at my friends house and by the time we left it was kinda late and I figured you were sleeping. Hope Reed didn't give you too much trouble XD.

Reed seemed to instantly relax when Kras hugged him, all the tension left his body. "Mmm I wanted to hold you too. Especially after...what happened earlier." He really didn't want to admit how much it scared him, he wanted to be strong like Kras thought he was. Now that they were back in the safety of his home, he let the whole thing replay in his head as if it were in slow motion. Without realizing he was doing so, Reed tightened his grip on Kras. He pressed his face into Kras' chest and mumbled, "I love you."

Kras felt Reed's grip tightening on him and he smiled sadly down at him. "I love you too." Then he crouched down in front of Reed so he could look up at him, holding both of Reed's hand tightly. He loved looking up at his boyfriend like this - sometimes it just sucked being super tall. "I know how much what happened scared and upset you. Heck, it did the same to me a little." Kras was sure Reed knew by now how sensitive Kras could be to hurtful comments and actions. So yeah, that little incident at the zoo had upset him a bit. "And there's nothing wrong with being scared, because it's a natural reaction. The point is though that we didn't let them win - we didn't retaliate with harsh words; we didn't show them that we were scared or upset." He gave his boyfriend an encouraging smile. "You have no idea how proud I was of you when you managed to hold your head up and walk away with me. You were strong. And I fell in love with you all over again." He chuckled, squeezing Reed's hands gently. "I know we're going to have to deal with that sort of stuff more and more as we get older, but as long as we have each other we'll be okay. I just know it. It doesn't matter what people say - we know who we are and who we love - we were born this way." It's not like being gay was just a choice they had made - after all, who would choose to get called terrible names or bullied because of their interests? Kras knew they could have gone through a lot worse back at school if others had not been as accepting as they had been, but even if it had he still would not have told people he was straight just so they would leave him alone - he was proud of who he was and was glad that, by being himself, he had gotten the chance to meet and fall in love with the most perfect boy he had ever met.

Awwwwww that made me tear up!!

Reed followed Kras with his eyes as his boyfriend crouched down. Reed also liked this view and it really made him feel a lot taller than he was. As he listened to his boyfriend talk, silent tears started escaping Reed's eyes. Kras was seriously the most perfect human being on the entire planet, Reed was sure of that. He hardly even knew what to say after everything Kras said, so he bent down and gently wrapped his arms around Kras' shoulders, crying silently. "T-thank you. For..for just being you. I wish I could say something as amazing and beautiful as you did, but I just...I just love you so much and it should scare me, but it doesn't. I know that as long as I have you I don't have to worry about the people that will constantly try to bring us down. They don't have a single affect on me as long as I know I have you. I was just scared because what if-" he had to choke back a sob that was attempting to escape him, "what if someone tries doing something worse than yelling bad names at us. What if they..what if they try and hurt you..I can't..I can't even think of someone hurting you. I just can't.." Reed clung tighter to Kras and began sobbing. The thought of anyone hurting the thing he loved most in the world made him feel literally sick to his stomach.

Kras feels his own eyes tearing up a bit as Reed sobs against him. He sits on the ground, glad the wall is behind him to lean against, and pulls Reed down to hold him close. "Ssh, it's okay, baby. It's okay. No one is going to hurt me, or you. I won't let them." Kras was capable of defending with or without magic - not that he liked to fight, but if he had to to defend himself or Reed then he would. No one was allowed to hurt Reed; no one. His heart tightens painfully in his chest because he hasn't told Reed yet about what else he's going to be doing once summer's over and Reed goes back to school. Andrei had told him about it when they were alone because it was very secretive. Kras had not made a final decision yet because he had decided he wanted to talk to Reed about it first - he knew this was dangerous and the chances that he could get hurt were rather high if he wasn't careful. Now wasn't the time to bring it up though. He was sure Reed would not agree right off the bat and if they fought about it then it might ruin the atmosphere for their dinner tonight. For now he just wanted to comfort Reed and tell him everything was going to be alright.

[*skips about* Yaaaay plot...? lol. I don't know if you remember or not, but the last time Andrei and Kras saw each other and were leaving after visiting the old tree house, Andrei vaguely mentioned needing Kras' help with something top secret and Kras said he'd think about it.]

[YES I REMEMBER!! AAAHH I FEEL LIKE I'VE JUST READ A HUGE CLIFFHANGER AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TO FIGURE IT OUT!! *flails*]

Reed nods into Kras' shoulder. He knew he was probably over reacting, but when it came to Kras, his emotions were usually higher than normal. Finally he was able to calm himself down with the comfort of Kras' arms around him. He pulled back sniffling and managed a small chuckle as he wiped his eyes. "I'm sorry. I didn't wanna ruin the day. Want a snack? Or we can start planning our outfits for tonight." Then he realized he still hadn't shown Kras his art room, and he was still uncertain he wanted to since Kras' face was literally on every canvas.

"Don't ever apologize for letting yourself be human." Kras told him, kissing his cheek softly. "Everyone cries. And the day is most definitely not ruined." And Kras is too busy worrying about trying to get Reed to smile again to remember that he hasn't seen the art room yet. "I have some cookies that may or may not just cheer you up..." He had obviously brought tons of cookies with him. There were several bags of them in the bag he had brought that held his clothing and stuff.

Reed instantly perks up. "Cookies? I think that is an excellent idea!" He smiles widely and stands, practically pulling Kras up with him as well. He pulls him the short distance into Reed's bedroom and sits on the bed expectantly, since he wasn't about to start digging through Kras' bag. "So I was thinking, about dinner tonight. Okay, remember the first time you came here and it was like, really intense and not at all relaxed? Well. I was thinking we make things super simple. Like. PB and J and like Mac n' Cheese, or something silly like that. But we get all dressed up like we're going to the most expensive restaurant in town. What do you think? Is it stupid?" He bit his lip a little, hoping his boyfriend wouldn't think it was dumb.

Kras grins, laughing as Reed pulls him to the bedroom where the cookies are. He digs through his bag and pulls out a smaller bag of yummy cookies. Then he goes over and sits next to Reed on the bed. "Oh, that's not a stupid idea at all! I love it!" He grins, opening the bag of cookies. "A more relaxed dinner will be awesome. Open up!" He holds a cookie up to Reed's mouth.

Reed takes all of the cookie into his mouth, almost chomping off Kras' fingers in the process. He chews and swallows before speaking. "So what do you think we should have? We should have all the courses. So we need an appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert." He thought for a bit, reaching in the bag for another cookie when inspiration struck. "Oh! What about pb and j as an appetizer, appelsauce for the salad, mac n cheese with peas for the main course, AND COOKIES FOR DESSERT!" He flailed the cookie in his hand.
